@lokosder Players tend to be compared with them as either "the next ____(insert name)"(meaning they play a similiar way and have the potential to be WC) or when they are at their prime, but never have I ever seen someone say say that a retired player is/was better than what a 17 year has shown, because that is obvious seeing as he is still a child and hasn't shown much...
