Undoubtedly a great song... but can't decide a favourite... could be Aisa samaa na hotaa... could be Sili Hawa... but yes, this is one pairing I most adore... especially Pancham though... and of course, the duets between Lata and Kishore... whether from Aandhi... or whether a Hum tumse miley from Rocky...
Hii u all, nice to see u all commented. I too hv some in my mind and heart, hp u all will surely like and reply bck soon. I HAD A LOVELY LIFE DURING THIS PERIOD OF 1970 TO 1990, IT WAS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL LIFE WITH FULL OF ENERGY AND REALLY ENJOYED WATCHING THESE MOVIES AND BY HEARING TO THESE LOVELY NUMBERS SUNG BY OUR GREAT LEGENDS LIKE KISHOREDA,MD.RAFI,LATAJI,ASHAJI & WTH MUSIC COMPOSERS LIKE THE VERYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY GREAT PANCHAMDA, LAXMIKANT PYARELAL, MADAN MOHAN AND MANY OTHER. 2DAYS S HELL
Fully agree with the description of the song, right down to the goosebumps at the "banwari si tu phire" part. My favorite of the RDB-Lata would probably have to be their first song - ghar aaja ghir aaie.
@geetateet Thanks for the comment! Great choice, the song that kickstarted RDB's career and was the reason that SDB and Lata finally patched up their differences. Also, lately I've been hooked on "Aisa Sama Na Hota" (Zameen Aasmaan, 1984). These three would definitely be in my top 5 of RDB-Lata songs.
