Bar down everytime - takes the weight off the legs when you rest skis on the bar.

I can't believe they don't use the bar. I'd rather be safe on the lifts than looking "cool". If some idiot doesn't want the bar down they can do it on a different chair to the one I'm on. Plus its a rest for your legs :)

i dont use the bar, but sometimes i do

its like a 50/50 thing, once i started feeling comfortable on the lift i was just too lazy to bring the bar down, its not really a big deal

btw im also a 19 year old kid from ny, so there is no shortage of us.

i can see why you dont but it does take the weight off your legs. its also dangerous coz you could slip and either kill or seriously hurt yourself. personally i trhink its fuckin awful. thats just me
