God gives us many chances to repent, and if we refuse to repent, after we are Born Again, God WILL chastise us! I know this from experience!!! He chastises us to wake us up, not to break our spirit, so that we will come back to him and repent! Having a repentant heart, each and every time we sin, is the key to staying close to God!

Ouija Boards are EVIL! I've seen the results when two of my Aunts tried to communicate with my recently passed-away Nan. Nan didn't materialise but an entity called 'Gloria' did. Becoming Born Again activates your dormant spirit. An un-born again person's spirit is "turned off" to God, and God is NOT living inside that person! ok i found the Bible verse that I vaguely remember: 1 John 4:1-3ish says to "test the spirits to see whether or not they are from God..Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God.." God gives us many chances to repent, and if we refuse to repent, after we are Born Again, God WILL chastise us! I know this from experience!!! Ouija Boards are EVIL! I've seen the results when two of my Aunts tried to communicate with my recently passed-away Nan. Nan didn't materialise but an entity called 'Gloria' did. After that there was no peace in that house: cold spots, rappings,shadows, light bulbs flying out of holders landing on a hard floor and not breaking. Becoming Born Again activates your dormant spirit. An un-born again person's spirit is "turned off" to God, and God is NOT living inside that person! @xavier8994 What have you done for Him? We live in a fallen world. The devil or we ourselves, due to our sin, bring all this bad stuff on ourselves. God does not torment us, the devil does that. Jesus came to set us free from the devil's control! We are all born as the property of satan, due to our inherited sin nature we got from Adam! Jesus is the only one who has paid the price to set us free!

@SexyVistaNerd The Bible implies that everyone is a fool who cannot look at nature and at the stars in the heavens and not come to the realization that there is indeed a creator! I totally agree! How on earth could all the synergy in nature happen without a creator, any more than a computer could form without a creator? There had to be a master plan for all of the interconnected things that cause our world to continue to function, can't you see that? By the way, God wants no part in fools!

@jimmyjerryface ok to ut in plain terms... many theologins accept the big bang. take this for example. Got created humans, but when a baby is born the baby begins to grow on its own provided the right conditions. God could have put the big bang into effect.. who knows

There is an unseen spirit world all around us that is more real than this world is, because it is eternal, and our universe is physical, and temporal! Angels for God's side and demons for the devil's side! We listen to whichever we choose, because God gave us free will to choose! Parents (or whoever is raising the kids) plus teachers, coaches, etc. cause the spiritual forces to be strong or weak (from one side or the other), depending on what each influencing person believes, and how they behave! This is spiritual influence as well as soulish (mind) influence!

@joel10000a Gravity is empirically testable, the presence or nonpresence of God is not. I'm a Catholic, but I hate seeing Christians using woefully fallible and flawed logic. It makes the entire Christian community look retarded and uneducated.
I'm an evolutionary theist (in response to the evolution/creation talk going on here). I see no reason why God cannot be compatible with science -- in my eyes, God created the science we're discovering and living in.

He is the only one who sacrificed His life so that you could be forgiven for your sins and so that your eternal spirit could be bought back from Satan! doesn't the Bible say something about asking a Spirit about Jesus? It's kinda fuzzy, but i think i remember something about how if you speak with a demon or spirit you should speak at him in the name of Jesus. I've always imagined using a ouija board to experience the spiritual proof that there are demons and that I can be authoritative towards them in the name of Jesus, as a Christian.

If you knew anything about the Bible you would know that Christians do not dabble in the occult, because God warns us not to in the Bible. This is for our own good, and is to protect us. If we disobey and go ahead and try to communicate with demons, God will NOT protect us because He has already told us not to do it. Also the Holy Spirit would be witnessing to our spirit that it is wrong to try to communicate with demons!

ok i found the Bible verse that I vaguely remember: 1 John 4:1-3ish says to "test the spirits to see whether or not they are from God..Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God.." Ok, so if I misinterpreted this passage, so be it. But don't say that i know nothing about the Bible. If I think of a "spirit" as it said in the passage as a spirit (demonic or not), then thats what i understood. Does it mean people's spirits? like living people?

Ok, sorry, please accept my apologies and please forgive me. I thought you were referring to the Holy Spirit, in your original comment. Those scriptures you quoted are talking about any spirit (human, demon, or angel) that would communicate with you (it can only be a demon or angel or LIVE human - because the spirits of dead humans are prevented from coming back to visit us, according to the parable of Lazarus and the rich man).

Because of what the Bible says. It says that the spirits of dead humans are prevented from coming back to see or visit us. So that leaves only angels and demons in the spirit world around us. Angels are messengers from God, and only contact us when there is a specific message from God. That leaves only demons to operate the ouija board, plus all other occult devices such as tarot cards crystal balls, seances, and the like! Ouija Board players actually become mediums while playing the board!

The ouija board is an occult device. This means that it allows demons to communicate with humans! The same goes for any other type occult device, like crystal balls, dowsing rods, tarot cards, and the like! The Bible specifically warns us to avoid all contact with the occult - to PROTECT US. Therefore when someone plays the ouija board, there is no protection from God for him, because he has already been warned to stay away from it. Demons are out to only kill, steal and destroy. That's why!
