It takes some getting used to. I've used Vegas briefly, so I couldn't really comment. I'd say Premiere is probably a bit more complicated than Vegas though, from what I can tell.

You know, you could have split this trailer in half in two places at 1.22 and made two good ones. The second one would be the better one, but generally I think you've created a coherent story here. Iron Man is a little underused.

Sorry about all the nitpicking but the more awesome something is, the more I'm encouraged to give constructive criticism. Bad habit, sorry :)

Thanks for the comments, and no worries about the criticism, I applaud you for giving me your insight. As for the splitting in half, as this is a theatrical trailer (which tend to range from 2:20 to 3:00 minutes), I feel that more of the story needs to be developed. Essentially, the movie has two main story lines, the heroes meeting each other, everything goes to hell, the heroes try to build it all back up.

I felt that this, being the first theatrical trailer, needed to give that extra introduction to the meetings and such, however, the next trailer, will delve right into the main story...which is of course a secret. LOL

However, I will tell you that the story consists of some wrong doings by Peter, and the ultimate rise of Lex Lurhor, which will all be shown in the next trailer, making this one make a little more sense.

Movie Maker is where I started, then went on to Ulead Video Studio, and finally Premiere Pro. Premiere is without a doubt the best, but under preforms due to it crashing a lot. However, when it doesn't crash, its great.

The reason why most of the trailers the people you talk about are sloppy is likely because they're using that shitty Windows Movie Maker. Some people use it to their best extent if they have the tools that themanbatman and WormyT have (i.e. Adobe After Effects). Otherwise, Sony Vegas Movie Studio is the way to go.

"Smallville" also gets big credit for covering more of the Superman mythos, which allows themanbatman to make these trailers. He even made the Fantastic Four movie clips look good.

It was pretty difficult to do actually. Basically, I had to cut Spidey out of the scene with Sandman, and place him the scene with Bats. The hardest part wasn't actually cutting out Spidey, it was removing Flass from the scene with Bats, and substituting a background so that Spidey fit in perfectly. I took quite a while, and it was put together in Adobe After Effects.
