When I was in high school ( long ago!) the cane was very popular. Each stroke raised tram tracks on the cheeks - two parallel ridges. If you were lucky you only got one stroke but bad boys might get six. Talking in class or no Phy Ed gear 1, fighting or smoking 4, being impertinent to a female teacher, drinking beer 6. Nobody leapt up before the caning was finished because this would get you extra. It would be good to see if you could stay down and take 4 or 6.
you should do the same thing to the other guy. Caning PAYBACK.
