OMG. I SO love this. We also have a GSD who we got from a breeder in Canada. They were 9 months when we got him and they crawl over him - kids at the park pick themselves up to stand with his fur on his back, put their hands in his mouth. He loves and licks them like crazy. So awesome!
best dogs ever !!!!!! they would never attack their familly members no matter the age , well when a starnger breaks in yourr house its a different story and i love to be able to count on my dog to eat up a crook or whatnot...
I love Shepherds, had them all my life. Now have a Rottie, sweetest dogs you could ever want to own. Blame the owners, not the dogs. Shepard's are wonderful beautiful loyal dogs.Sorry, gotta go, my Rottie is nudging me to be petted.
he may be a big teddy bear right now with the kid but I would be willing to bet the farm that if someone walked through your front door he would go into billy joe badass mode.
aww wow awesome dogs i really want a german shepherd badly i hear thier wonderful dogs and very friendly if you train them right, but my mom is worried a dog like that might hurt my little brother and sister so she wont let me get one,im still working on convincing her though haha. oh can i ask did you adopt your german shepherd from a shelter or did you but it off a breeder?im looking for a dog from a shelter but also worried about bad breeding. thank you God Bless you and your family :)
@luvmusic4eva101 Breeding is everything with dogs. I would never buy from a shelter when ive got kids in the house. We went and saw Rebels Mum and Dad and checked the history of their grandparents. Buy from a good breeder. It will cost more but well worth it, You cant put a price on family anyway!!

His name is Rebel and he is a big brother to both my little girls. The puppy in the background is my little Rottweiler pup Rocky. They both love my kids
