@ArugalSwe The only way you'll be able to finish the quest is when you get neutral or higher with booty Bay, I would suggest farming the humanoids in Eastern Tanaris to get your booty bay rep up without damaging your rep with Bloodsail... yes it takes a long time and I hadn't even thought of the possibility of people doing this solely for the Bloodsail cloth set/achievement. It does go quicker in a group tho.

@thegmanwiththegforce np i find that the ships close to BB thats attacks are the npc u turn in the quest so u gain the tital / items after that havent tucht the shit :D maby in a far future i will gain with bb and thes rest maby :D

@Mulishadude318 It's the mount rewarded for obtaining 100 mounts. If you really want it, you'll have to end up grinding reputations which reward mounts ie: Netherwing, Sha'tar Skyguard and the alliance/horde factions

I found that the only way to complete the quest chain to get out of the phase was to be friendly with booty bay.

IF YOU PLAN ON COMPLETING THE "AVAST YE, ADMIRAL" ACHIEVEMENT. DO NOT DO THIS METHOD!!!! You can only do the quest if you are friendly with bloodsail and hated with booty bay. The only way to get out of the phased area is to get your rep back up to friendly with booty bay. And the quest giver for "Avast Ye, Admiral" is not in this "easy mode" phase so the quest cannot be opened.

@yes80dis4me Usually people like myself that use this method to get 1 rep shy of revered with bloodsail will grind mobs endlessly at the eastern side of Tanaris to get our lost Steamweedle rep back up. That means we are basically revered with Bloodsail and at least revered with Steamweedle. This makes it possible to complete the "Avast ye, Admiral" achievement.

@thegmanwiththegforce you cant complete the quest for "Avast ye, Admiral" if you are not hated by booty bay. Thats one of the requirements (actually I dont remember if you need to be hated or just not friendly). So complete the quest, then start grinding the mobs in Tanaris.

@yes80dis4me Actually, the quest giver for "Avast Ye, Admiral" is in this "easy mode", in a boat near the island with the statue. There you can take the 2 quest. The first quest gives you 10 rep, and the second 600 (for me, a human pally) so let the quest until you reach 11999/12000 honored rep if you wanna go to the long way of exalted.

Apparently starting and completing the quest chain from Captain Hecklebury Smotts will open up the quest chain for the Bloodsail Buccaneers obtained from First Mate Crazz. From there, follow the line of quests thereafter (use low level tracker so you avoid missing any) and eventually you'll get a quest to head back to Booty Bay. When you turn that in, the phasing begins.

how long does it take the npcs to respawn, and can you just come back to it later like if you didnt feel like doing all of it?

@Keyblader001 Been a while since I've done it but every NPC you kill seem to have a random time that they'll respawn. There's other NPCS such as the two bankers which have a much noticable shorter spawn time. Just so long as you don't complete the chain of quests offered by the BB Mayor, this zone will stay phased so you can do little by little if you want. Just once again, don't complete all of the chain quests in this phased zone.

@lordalika123 The phase event start with the quest "Doble rum" . So, to get out you need to complete the quest and the rest of quests. If you are hated wby booty bay, do the quest to gain your reputation back.

Im currently at unfriendly witht he bloodsail, i was grinding in faldirs cove but now they took half w=those mobs out >.< how do you get to this point in the game? booty bay for me is still normal, no flames etc.

@xxthiskidxx You need to complete the chain quest to activate the phased zone with the flames and such. I do not know exactly which quest starts it off but if you do every low level quest in the Cape of Stranglethorn, you will come across the quest which will lead to that event.

@lolzzz804 On your character screen (C), click the Reputation tab. Scroll down to Booty Bay reputation bar and click it. A window should spawn beside it and you check the "At War" option on there. At that point, you can attack Booty bay associated npcs as you would any other hostile creature.

how do you get the bloodsail title doing this method? it wont let you talk to the fleet master to start avast ye admiral quest because the boat is also phased out.

@orange69 You basically grind your rep til you're honored (I would get 1k rep in honoured to counter any negative rep from turn in quests) and then finish the last quest to zone out of the phased area and you should be able to do the quests from the bloodsail buccaneers to get the title

I must've been half-tired when I responded... you may be at a point where you CAN'T continue quests due to being lower than neutral rep for Booty bay, if this happens to you, you can farm mobs at the eastern tip of Tanaris to gain Steamweedle rep back without negatively affecting your accumulated Bloodsail rep

Just to be clear on what I'm seeing, are you taking the phased quest then not turning in until you have all the rep you need?

@LastTrueSon Basically, if you continue questing thru the phased part and you end up with the quest to kill the Fleet Master, I abandoned the quest in my quest log and started my farming from there. From what I've read up, if you got that quest in your quest log and you kill the fleet master, you get zoned out of the phased zone and back into the regular one.

@ttristann I completed both Northern and Southern STV so I can't be absolutely sure what quest officially starts it.... however I would suggest enabling Low Level Quests on your tracker and search the northern area of Southern STV
