Okay, why are the Clemson fans trying to fight this? It was a great game and Nebraska pulled out a quality win. No questions needed from the Clemson fans because Nebraska won. We have the bragging rights so stop trying to argue! GO BIG RED!!!

NU won this game hands down. Besides the final score obviously being 26-21, our defense dominated Clemson... we held "thunder & lighting" in check, got 5 sacks, 2 block kicks, and 2 interceptions. All of CU's points came off of NU turnovers.

Our D-line dominated Clemson's O-line. We don't even sub any players on the D-line like most teams do - the same 4 guys play every snap. We didn't even have our top 2 linebackers or our top 2 running backs playing in the game and we still beat Clemson.

Ok some of the comments seem like the person didnt watch the game at all. Clemson came out strong and created tournovers, even though Ganz just simpily let that option lateral get tipped and ran in for a touchdown. Nebraska did pick things up though offensivly in the second half. Clemson was clearly a much faster team, but Nebraskas D played brilliantly for what they were a year ago. So saying that, it was a well fought game, THE CALLS WERE CORRECT, and nebraska was able to pull out the victory.

I am so proud of the Huskers. We played a hell of a game. We have a hell of a coach.One that can motivate players and bring out the best in them. He inherited Callahan's mess and lost talent and by the end developed them. Pelini is the real deal, he can really coach. He is truly a gem. Go Huskers!, oh and BRING THAT TROPHY BACK TO LINCOLN! It is amazing to think that Pelini was able to have a 9-4 season, and redshirt most every player he recruited last season. Yesterday, we had two walk-ons and a soph (Lawrence) play most of the game at linebacker.

Once Pelini gets all of "his" players properly developed, our defense will turn into a nightmare for other teams. We even started to see that yesterday as

Clemson got all of their points off of our turnovers, which is amazing.

that is absolutely right. one big reason nebraska is 9-4 and not 6-7 right now is resiliency. and pelini did an outstanding job with a defense that lacked a lot of speed and talent this year (that is, except for the d-line. once we get a lot of talent in there, the backers and secondary will most likely, hopefully, be as dominant as that d-line.) go big red!

why because they didnt like your grit coach and your crapping players. How did smash and dash do against an average Nebraska defense? Not very well. If not for 2 wins against D1aa schools, Clemson would have a losing record. Spiller might have cost you the game with his stupid personal foul (or his crappy play). Plus, your whole offense leaves next year and to replace them your grit coach has brought in an astounding.....9 man recruiting class. That should fill those holes.

dude what are you talking about. first of all the commentators were obviously anti-nebraska. second of all, clemson played a great game defensively and all that penalty on spiller did was make them lose some yards. you are downplaying nebraska's victory. both teams played hard and NU should have won by more considering the points off turnovers, but still a hardfought game by both teams (and kudos to clemson for creating the first turnover.)

That is the the one thing that really upset me about that game: how anti-Nebraska the announcers were. Even when we were winning all they wanted to talk about was how good Clemson was and "Thunder and Lighting". I'm really glad we shut them down and walked away with a victory. How about the greatest play: when the announcer said we couldn't run against Clemson and then, not more than one second later, Castille busted out with a 50 yarder! HA! That made him eat his words. I loved it!

you know what, commentators are always going to be anti-nebraska. always. there is seldom a commentator that gives nebraska a lot of praise for good things. but yes, castille was a beast and he did make that idiot eat his words. i loved it, and our running game should be monstrous next year: we have slasher (and hopper) helu, bone crushing castille, and speedster mendoza. plus with the line depth and quality coaching from barney cotton, the running game should be a force to be reckoned with.

But other than that I can see a lot of opportunities to talk about the Clemson program. Notably, how bad they will become. If not for 2 stupid Ganz turnovers, Nebraska wins this by about 30. As Peter Griffin from Family Guy once said, "America's great, except the south"

Clemson's D owned Nebraska, and our D is ok at best. The big Red won that game because of the referee's poor performance and our horrible QB that is finally gone for good. You are talking about the south being bad, what the hell does "grit coach" mean? What is there in Nebraska besides UN? nothing, its BFE. Our Defense learned some good tackling techniques from the cornholes O-line though...

Very classy. I have heard some bad things about the sportsmanship of Clemson fans and you are confirming it. Trashing our team isnt good enough for you. You have to trash our state, which brings hunters and fishers from other states because the wildlife is so plentiful here. Our agriculture in Nebraska alone is worth more than a billion dollars. We have more than a football team for this state to take pride in. Go Big Red isnt a chant for just the team. Its for the entire state so...BGR!
