I guess you saw that movie, 7am arivu. I knew of this guru long before the movie came out. China has had a long lineage of great thinkers. Confucius, Tao, Sun Tzu and India has had its share too, like the Buddha and 800 years after him, this man here, the Bodhidharma.
It is improper to say anything like that because the Chinese Buddhists know this man better than we do and they did not have to watch a movie to know him :)

The Decimal system and the number system called the 'arabic numerals' was invented in India and used in India over a thousand years before the Arabs traders got there.
