This was a virtuoso resurgence album by the Descendents. The guitar work itself is epic. I saw them on the supporting tour for this record, in Seattle. It really was the LAST STAND for them, as the follow-up record was not very good. My love for the Descendents will never grow sour. It grows more pure with every hour. Thank you, Milo.

It's not really a genre of music, then it described bands who played emotional passages which was unusual in the hardcore scene. Pretty much the whole post hardcore style emerged from there. Since 2000 there's also this fashion thing that's called emo, but has mostly nothing to do with the music. Many bands called emo today play indie, alternative rock or metalcore, blame the media for making this trend up.

I really have no problem with Emos or Rednecks (stereotypical "Punk enemy" if your one of those people that think punk has guidlines that you have t o follow to be a punk) but I just hate when people misslabel things ie: Rancid being EMO. That makes me want to kill! AND USUALY I'm a laid back guy. It's not really a genre of music, then it described bands who played emotional passages which was unusual in the hardcore scene. Pretty much the whole post hardcore style emerged from there. Since 2000 there's also this fashion thing that's called emo, but has mostly nothing to do with the music. Many bands called emo today play indie, alternative rock or metalcore, blame the media for making this trend up.
