I met her at a show in Montreal in the late 70's, she was so full of charisma, the whole audience was swept up in her energy. Wonderful entertainer.

(Picking myself up off the floor where I swooned.) OK, I can now die happy. I had the vinyl self-titled album in '80 but sadly lost it in the melee of those days. Been able to download all audio-only, but never dreamed there was video footage. Wish I was musically trained so could break down what is so infectious about this classic.

Pearl E. Gates seems SO rad! I wish more of her stuff was available to be. I just bought a vinyl on Ebay. Wish I could find the song I'm really looking for. Seems to be unknown and unavailable. It's called "Two Bullets" and you can hear a little sample in the movie Sid & Nancy, in the scene where he's in the bed cutting his chest. I don't know if it's really even her that sings it,but in the credits for the movie it says Pearl Harbour and The Palaminos and I can't find anywhere it exsists :o(
