@Ellieew1995 lol she said it because he was getting deported and that marrying a US citizen would have made him legal, but his father intervened and saved him. And this is how they get together :P that and the magnitude of Eric's speech from when she was in the hospital the first time. Hope that helped ! :)

CSI Miami continues to satisfy and surprise their viewing audience with the Eric and Calleigh relationship. Last year, the surprise departure of Alexx (before the CSI Miami season finale) was 2008's best cry inducer. This year, it looks like the Eric and Calleigh romance will be the best "feel good" moment on TV. Now, if only Detective Frank Tripp had a CSI Miami episode devoted to him, the cult fans of Tripp will be happy too.
