Horrid woman. I went to see her about my aggressive periodontal condition, she referred me on to have bracers when I was finally told that because of loss of bone, this wasn't an option. She told me that I couldn't afford implants because implants could cost me well over 100,000 and more. Not a nice woman and pretty much relies on the fact that she was on this programme to up her profile. I would advise anyone against seeing her.
Great, just keep your professionnal status on esthetics. No curved smile line, no adaptation of the upper and lower lip lines of the prosthetics.....This case is just basic and not esthetic had been performed. All the esthetics rules are missing. Try to put better cases on you tube since the are also Master Dental Technicians who have a look there.....
im from chicago and am facing upper and lower dentures.my teeth are badly damaged and pointless to save them each appt i have had i have been told that i need dentures.im on public assistance (PUBLIC AID) and am scared to death of the pain and pulling of all my teeth.lower and bottom. plz explain to me how will the dentist pull out my teeth and make new dentures for me by just regular anestetics .public asst wont cover the extra to knock me out to where i sleep thru all this..thnx.
@berwyn79 - I'm having an upper plate made. I chose a local anesthetic (Novocaine-type). Those other pills that knock you out are $250, and I said, "no thanks." I did fine. They remove half of the teeth then give you a partial. After 3 mos. you go back for another impression and on the next appt. they remove the rest of the teeth. You're given an immediate denture and then go back for relines when gums are healing, etc. Good luck! Don't be afraid. You'll soon have a great smile!
@berwyn79 Had the same problem with fear, etc. What I did was simply realize that this was a one-time thing I'd have to go through, what I'd looked like up until then, and how I'd look after. Then I simply sat down and thought that this would be the most pain I'd ever feel - which it was - and let's get it over with cuz I've got things to do! In about an hour, probably a lot less, it was done and I was outta there!! See? About 1/2 hour of pain. And what's that like in your lifetime, anyway...
