Bumber about the truck transmission. Good thing that you are knowledgable about that stuff. Yet another hurdle you've overcome. Boat is looking awesome. Keep up the great work and stay committed. Good times lie ahead :)
great video - nice boat fixes.. Too bad about the Tuna, you know you're doomed to when you've got 127 million hungry Japanese gunning to put you on their dinner table.
"you know you're doomed.....gunning to put you on their dinner table"... LMAO, oh goodness, succintly put... yeah, happy not to be a Tuna (esp. Blue Fin).
Why don't we (humans) learn? Didn't we almost wipe out Pacific Whales (really close).. and now we have to repeat same with Tuna. Actually, I am also trying to get into the conservation of Tuna... it's complicated because Blue Fin don't stay put in anyone EEZ... more on it later.
Glad to see your boat project is coming to fruition. As for the truck towing the boat, well, I'm sure you know what the F.O.R.D. acronym stands for: Found On Road Dead :)
yeah boat is much closer to done than started.. next vid should be Seatrials, and gonna get some Underwater shots/film of it going "overhead" (besides some opening Blue water stuff). Aloha, UC
yo bro, that was an awesome vid. you really know your shit! from auto-trans work, to rebuilding your boat. badass!!!!!!!!!!! that termite manure collection was huge, that boat must have been sitting around forever.
Yeah, the boat was stored near some bushes (with lots of bugs)...once they got into the stringer they ate up much of the foam, built a little city in there... pretty gnarly.
Very Cool USCM, loved the model LOL. What software were you using for the virtual measure ups? Glad the transmission story ended ok - what truck was it in?
I have "DesignCAD", but used simple ole' "Paint Brush"....LOL. I got kinda profient with PB a long time ago, so it's hard for me to break the habit and use more advanced tools (that's a CM for ya').
Since you ask, it was in F150...(I wonder if Toyota does that kind of trick).
Ha ha ha Lets hope Toyota does not do this - I'll be in a pile of it! My experience so far with regards to towing 2.5 tons suggests not - fingers crossed!! Can't wait to se the first Tuna steak video!! :)
Many thanks....hard to believe, huh? (recalling the earlier views of boat)....."Part 3" will be the finishing touches, Sea-Trials and finally....Blue Water Diving!!
You do very nice fiberglass work. whoever got hold of my old boat before I owned it did a hack job
