It was because earlier in the episode, Jack comforted Baby by telling him a bedtime story his parents told him as a child, about how a little boy named Momotaro (Which means "Peach- Boy," since in the story, he came from a peach) and his animal friends fought off a bunch of ogres. Oh, and according to Jack, the baby wasn't angry; He had achieved sakai, the spirit of the samurai.

@Inumaru12 Season 4 didn't run on TV for a long time, and it ran as a special at one point. It's too bad this is the final episode and htey never concluded the conflict between Jack and Aku, which is really disappointing, because on the Season 4 DVD they say they knew it would be the final season.

That i know of, the last episode was when Jack saved the baby from the trolls, and gave him back to his mother. Google the Samurai Jack episodes if you dont believe me (number 52)

well as of right now the Samuari Jack is currently being made. The main reason why the story wasn't finished was because the company that made the series ran out of money and in mid 2009 they merged with two other companies and have stated that the story will be finished either in the movie of more of the series.
