  • fella's, i'm brave enough to admit when I'm wrong.

knowing the full story puts things into perspective, a short video clip is easily misconstrued. I consider myself educated

  • that manoeuvre is just stupid that close in and shows no respect to the other cruiser, I'm crew in RNLI and that makes the service look stupid

  • If you notice there are no passengers on the stuart line vessel, the lifeboat was on route to an emergency call, the crew and coxswain are VERY aware of other users in the river as we have been operating that class of lifeboat there for over ten years. The channel in the river is extremely narrow as anyone local is well aware (you may notice the channel marker in the video?)- doesn't give us any choice of passage. Please get your facts straight before passing comment.

  • I Was the Skipper of the Tudor Rose And i Was operating from a landing stage on the seafront The Coxwain Of the Emouth Lifeboat Called me on vhf...

I told him i would move off and he could come by at his best speed as the Shout they were on route to was an unconscious man. I feel the was no Question of poor seaman ship and the good work carried out by our lifeboat crew should not be mocked by anyone especially by their own crew.. you should question yourself Mate DAVID PREECE F,O,B,E
