Most americans are too ignorant to realize it's always been them against the whole world in regards to the United Nations General Assembly's "Peaceful Settlement of Palestine" resolution. In 1989 the vote was 153 to 3. In 2006 the vote was 157 to 7 for the "two state resolution" to bring peace. The 7 nations who voted against peace were Israel, USA, Nauru, Palu, Tuvalu, Micronesia and the Marshall Islands. The other 5 countries couldn't fill a section at Yankee Stadium. The Geneva Accords must be adopted by the Governments of both states and as the fanatics attempt to sabotage the peace process through attacks the peacseekers must work even harder to bring about an economically capable Palestinian state and not allow the attacks to influence their efforts towards peace.

Is the United States a police state society? Well either the americans have a very weak ignorant stance or the US is a police state. Take for instance those that arrested for holding signs up in protest of president Bush near his speaches. If the US constitution is still valid I would say their rights have been violated and maritial law in force at Bush's hands - Bush's dictatorship.

Bush seems to be filled with many faces. What I mean by that is that he has not been a president but one that is playing a part. He has failed on many fronts such as his environmental policies, secure border objectives, and a confident (not desperate) workforce. Debts in the US are stagering and the more borrowing the US does the less spending power americans (this effects mexicans as well).

As far as Bush goes I do think he has failed as a president. I'm not talking about the war campaign but I have to say that the US is a bunch of quiters. Some americans and the military seem to think that the US can do without the UN. Everyone has to jump though loops even the mighty US.

I don't know I have divided views on this. There's a lot of I guess you call them minorities that work in power and they raise a red flag to profiling "ethnic criminals". Obviously 911 should have been prevented but because they are more worried about seeming racist they neglect to apprehend these "ethnic criminals". Also FBI was onto Al Quada and because of personal pride within the organization they were not stopped and is why you had 911.
