  • nice job. Very moving, very sad. I took a NYC trai out of there in the ealy 60's. Used to walk there on Saturdays with my grandfather to get the NY Times right off the Empire St. Express. , (all the way back to when it was E.Lovejoy St), from 1895 to 1974. Our last relative moved out of there in the late 80's . How an area can go from a thriving, well mannered and well kept neighborhood to a cesspool and a warzone is a shame.

  • all you can see is a dieing city... i love/live in buffalo never leaving hope sometime in the future this city will be restored to what it used to be

  • The state is letting buffalo die.It sucks, because there are some great people in that city!

  • Great building, bad neighborhood.

  • @marcstravels That's not a bad neighborhood as far as neighborhoods in buffalo go.

  • R.I.P. i just passed this place today and we went inside. it is hell. There was a lot of workers there they said they are refurbishing it.

  • @Emericasktr1 more like theives stealing and breaking shit

  • @KartKing4ever No, there is a Buffalo Central Terminal Restoration group.

  • I grew up in this neighborhood...until all the riff raff came in and ruined it...makes me sick...they trash and move on like rats!!!!! scumbag dirtballs...I wish I was a billionaire to make this the landmark of the Eastside and renew it heritage and tradition...Miss you Polonia!!!!!

  • a men i miss the old east side and ur right they destroyed the east side then move out like the plague the house were up kept all yr round every one was so nice

  • Same site as John Rzeznik saw in the 2004 DVD!

  • Back in September of 1997 I shot video of a coal train coming off the main line at William St and moving onto the Belt Line while standing on top of one of the ornamental fleur de lis on the roof of Central Terminal. I don't recall how long it is, but it must be about 5 minutes long. I'll have to upload it once I dig it up. We went through the whole Terminal that day, with permission from the CTRC. It is a wonderful building.

  • I went up on the 13th floor balcony and it is really amazing what you can see. I really wish they can restore this place and make it into a Amtrak Station/Railroad Museum.

  • look what is being wasted!

  • yea the terminals neighborhood has pretty much gone to hell in a hand basket.....

  • cant handle the truth?
