to 42Mainstreet. The Mood Swing CD (containing Home of the Brave) was remastered and released in April of 2007 and has been available on The Nails' website, Amazon and CDbaby for years now. It has also been available for downloading on major sites for many years now. You did not look hard enough!
Heard this originally in College in 1986...Once...and could only remember the reference to Auschwitz...spent about two years on and off on web looking for it..finally found it last year but not available except on album..ordered it off of ebay and bought it...yess I still have a record player..still great after all these years.
You just made my night by posting this. I first heard this song about 11 years ago and about 2 years ago I finally found in online and bought the cd. Never forgot this song. Love this guy's voice. Thanks again - and I too say 6 STARS! Bravo!
One of my favorite songs from the past!

Great film. I thought it was the actual video to the song. Good job.

Never gets old, worn out or tired. Try the other two Dangerous Dreams and Corpus Christy. Don't forget EP Hotel for Women.

This is one wild 80s band, with one of the best under-the-radar songs from the time. Part Springsteen. Part B-52s.

Thanks so much!! A great video by an underrated group--one of the best, and certainly one of the greatest of the 80s.

Oh god of hell I said I love the suit
That the devil gave me to wear to Beirut
Where the boys are dancing on the tabletops
And the jukebox plays apocalyptic be-bop.
