  • claro, uma ótima canção, mas compra uma camera melhor o fdp

  • Unity :)))

  • This Song Third Day is singing, is "Creed" by the late, great CCM artist Rich Mullens. Rich Mullens played Hammered Dulcimer on 3D's debut album, and they were friends. Rich supported 3D in their music. "Creed" was on "A Liturgy, a Legacy, & a Ragamuffin Band". Mullins co-wrote the tune with friend Beaker. Mullens was on his way to becoming a Catholic, when he died. Great choice by 3D! And great song by Mullens, 3D did justice to the original.

  • So sad. I used to like Third day a lot, but I've been dissapointing by watching this video, how could they sing at the visit of pope benedict? didn't Jesus said, what communion has the light with the darkness? christian church is not the roman catholic church, nor the converse. For me this is just a hint of how deceit in the form of ecumenism is being spread all over the world. The true church must be aware of it ! May God have mercy upon us.

  • @klebtorian Maybe they thought it was a good opportunity to be a witness

  • oh my goodness I can't believe people are standing still thru this song! Don't the lyrics mean anything? They should be enough to shout and jump for joy about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • At the Wedding Feast at Cana, is it not the Theotokos His Mother who interceeded with Her Son Our Lord Jesus Christ on behalf of the wedding couple? And did not Jesus Christ honor His Mother's intercession by transforming the water into wine? Now that may not be good enough for some, but it was good enough for Christ, the Apostles, the Early Church Fathers, the Martyrs, and the whole Church for 2000 years. It is good enough for me! The Communion of Saints, a eternal family of God!

  • we do not pray to saints nor mary only God thru Jesus

  • @juancarlosnito56 - Yes, in fact, we only ask Mary or the saints to pray to Jesus, or the Father or the Holy Spirit for us - it's called "intersessory prayer" - like asking a friend or family member to pray for you - just like you send out a "prayer call" across the Internet, to friends that maybe you've never met - "In the Body of Christ there are no dead" - remember? The souls of the holy ones are not dead - we see this in scripture! So we ask them to pray for us. They are still part of us.

  • I think this is a great, powerful, inspiring song. Let's put aside our differences aside and worship God. Surely the Protestants and Catholics can leave their squabbles at the church door, come inside, and worship together?

  • Worshipping together means worshipping the same things, the same Bible, the same God. Ergo, man has failed God again...

  • @rabthe45bravo : Come on! One of the most important differences between roman catholic church and evangelical protestant church is about justification. Roman church says that justification is by grace + good works: THAT IS HERESY!!!! Reformed (or protestant) evangelical church says, according to the Bible, that justification is by faith and by faith alone!! The theology about justification is non-negotiable!

  • @klebtorian Heresy is "belief or opinion contrary to orthodox religious" (Oxford American English Dictionary). Since you're calling Catholic doctrine "heresy", you've already chosen a side. Instead of embracing your brothers, you're denigrating them. Congratulations. You've failed to understand the importance of Jesus' message.

  • @rabthe45bravo: We cannot embrace Jesus' message and at the same time say that his sacrifice on the cross was not enough, cause that is what the "grace + good works" doctrine of justification implies (an heresy according to the christian reformed point of view). That if have to take a side because of this,so be it; Jesus clearly said that " whosoever that is not with me is against me", choosing a side is not an option, is unavoidable.

  • @klebtorian You're wrong. More importantly, this is a beautiful song. Let's put aside our differences and acknowledge that.

  • awesome setup...

  • come on guys i think you should read more of the bible and try to understand it more as individual. On mary catholic do not worship her but pray to her just as we pray to all the other saint so that they will carry those prayers to the almighty read revelation and on the idol also go and read exodus 1 - 5 you will find something about idols ok

  • It's called intercessary prayer. Well document in many old and new testament books. Job uses it many times ... and well Jesus asked the 12 to use it in the garden... they failed. Intercessary prayer is biblical. Funny how protestants seem to neglect it?

  • I have to say, I did not expect them to play there.

  • "We honor her as our mother. Catholics do not worship Mary"

She is no mother of mine.

To say she is your mother is just wrong and anti-biblical.

    It's just despicable.

  • She's the mother of God man. What the Roman Catholic lacks in biblical commitment, the protestant lacks in reverence and respect for Christ and his family. She is the mother of your God, which makes her MORE important than your mother. She was handpicked. Not some random woman. Matter of fact, you are a Christian, like myself. So when you go before Christ and he judges you, make sure you tell him that his mother was just some ordinary woman.

  • Philip, Did Jesus honor his Mother? Are we to imitate Christ? Then honor his mother ('Honor thy father and mother'). It's that simple. Dishonoring Mary is dishonoring Christ. You can not say God is your Father without saying the Church is your Mother.

  • have you ever read revelation 17. the vatican sits on 7 hills, the vatican has more gold than fort knox. the pope has more influence on world leaders, The catholic church killed more christians in the inquisition, and never apologized for it. The golden chalice, being arrayed in purple & scarlet. IDK bout you but that all scares me too much to even align myself with a so called christian church that forbids its parishoners to read or interpret the bible.

  • @fastfuriousfords The First Christian church, aka, Catholic, DOES NOT FORBID IT'S PARISHIONERS TO READ THE BIBLE. Please do not say lies about what you clearly do not know. Regarding interpretation of the bible, personal interpretation is what leads to HERESY! Jesus Himself did not leave his apostles to figure things out on their own. He taught them so they would not do their own "thing". That is a danger of personal interpretation. Thus, the Holy Spirit guides the Church. Blessings

  • @fastfuriousfords

Forbid Catholics from reading the Bible. ummm....no, just the opposite.

    How people can distort the truth (not all interpretations are equal) -- 2 Peter 3: 16; 2 John 7-10; Jude 1: 3-4;

Follow the 'teaching' of the Apostles -- Acts 2: 42

Tradition in the NT: (1 Cor. 11:2) (2 Thess. 2:15) (2 Tim. 2:1-2). Follow the 'tradition' (oral and written).

not EVERYTHING is in the Bible: see John 20: 30 and John 21: 25

    see Providentissimus Deus

  • Leave it to a protestant to turn a Third Day video centered on the worship of our Lord and savior, into a semantic battle over the status of the mother of Jesus.

  • Protestants make me laugh.

  • Pray to a "holy" image makes me laugh too.

Jesus is the only savior. Please read the bible.

  • Roman Catholic catechism does not promote a "secondary" savior. Catholic church laid groundwork for bible. But again, you are protestant, so your knowledge of Christian history is.. let's say... immature? Biblical foundations lie in Constantinople in 364 AD. Maybe you are upset about those 6 "extra" books in the Roman Catholic bible? Yep. Luther "deleted them". Good job. Also, you should research "intercessory prayer". Not simply a Catholic belief. Read the book of Job.

  • im sure it would make mary very ashamed if she could see all these people worshipping her instead of the real god who sustains every life in his hands!! only jesus i will prayse and give glory!! he created me and redeemed me so that makes me his twice!! but god loves every one bad or good!! my only wish and prayer is that every knee would bow down to his majesty. god bless us all!

  • Why is it that when two friends of faith gets into a horrific accident, one dies, and the survivor, badly wounded, always thank the lord for saving him??? Stupidity should have limits. Music is the latest method to fool people.

  • May the Holy Spirit purify us all from religion, traditions and misunderstands that many of us believe is the right way to worship God and serve Him. God we ask You in the name of Jesus that You take our hearts and mind and heal us ,transform us into the beautiful Bride of Jesus Christ Your son, please forgive us for the hatred against each other, teach us Your ways so we will follow You and bring a smile in Your face, because its all about You,its all Jesus! Teach us to love You more and more!

  • amen

  • Mateo 16 -18

Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven. And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Then he strictly charged the disciples to tell no one that he was the Christ.

  • Sorry, I want to give them a 10!

  • I'm a catholic spanish guy. God has told me some much through Third Daym, with their songs and lyrics that I'm very happy to know that they've song when the Pope went to the US.

I know they are not catholics (altough their lyrics sound so catholics...) and I would like to know what confession (I don't know if is told like that): methodists? presbiterians? others?

I'd love so much if they would come some day to Spain or Europe... Please, pray for that!!

  • Would the members of the band be able to receive communion (the Eucharistic)from the Pope? Hmmm?

Just kidding, I love my Catholic brothers and sisters. In fact, as an evangelical, sometimes I feel much closer to Christian Catholics then the many main-line ("liberal") prostestant churches that have just started making stuff up lately.

God Bless all True Believers (Catholic or Protestant)

  • I think that was a great mistake from Third Day, plays in the visit from Pope, cause, our belifs are diferent. I don't have nothing against the catolics, but we are belivers only Christ, and while the catolics belive in mary!! I don't agree with this!!

  • I completely understand how you feel and that is my initial reaction too. But the more I think about it I see that it's a great opportunity to spread the true Gospel. Lets say that people there hear this song and decide to hear more of their songs, then they will eventually (hopefully) have their eyes opened.

  • Silly. Where do you think the creed came from in the first place? Catholics recite the Creed everyday.. we know it off by heart... well enough to know that Third Day's song leaves out the word "catholic" in their lyrics (probably in order for the words to fit)but, thankfully, they leaves in the line about Mary's gift from God, "born of the Virgin Mary." Our love for her follows God's love for her. We want to follow Jesus as closely as she did. That's it.

  • I'm sorry if I offended you and that you consider me silly... The thing is, I think that you misunderstand the word "creed". According to dictionaries, creed means: a set of fundamental beliefs. So the fact that their song is called Creed does not necessarily mean they are referring to the Apostle's Creed. All the things they say are also part of my personal creed (belief), which are also part of Catholic beliefs. Two differences, from what I know, is that I do not believe in

  • the "Holy Catholic Church" but a Holy Church which is comprised of those who follow Christ "the body of Christ", and that He is the only head of the Church (Ephesians 1:22 and Colossians 1:18). In my opinion, that is why they left out the word Catholic. I'm not condemning Catholics, God is the only one that knows each heart individually. I am merely stating my opinion on certain things that I don't think are Biblical, but tradition of the Catholic Church.

  • Just look into the subject history of the creed a little more. It's ok no one knows everything. Christianity has a long rich history that often gets lost in our modern senses. Catholic love Third Day - their songs have VERY CATHOLIC lyrics. I wouldn't be surprised if one or more of the band comes HOME to ROME. :-)

  • In the creed, catholic is with a small c, which means "universal." Capital C Catholic means the Catholic Church. In the creed, we Catholics and Protestants belive in the Holy catholic church - the universal church of Jesus Christ.

  • That's right drofrubk, thanks. Our brothers and sisters sometimes unknowingly reject truths about the Christian faith in caution of sounding too Catholic. We have a lot of work to do to separate true points of disagreement with prejudice. It takes courage for a bible-only Christian to accept that Catholics are, not only Christians, but that without the [T]raditions they wouldn't have a Bible, or the creed. Together we are a ONE, holy, catholic, and apostolic CHURCH. God Bless!

  • One, holy, catholic, and apostolic are 4 marks of the church that Jesus established. A biblical tradition - some examples follow:

One: "...there will be one flock, one shepherd" Jn 10:16

Holy: "Christ loved the Church and gave himself up for her... that she might be holy..." Eph. 5:25

Catholic/universal: "make disciples of all nations..." Matt 28:18

Apostolic: "... built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the capstone." Eph 2:19-20

  • Did you know that us Catholics can recite the apostles creed by memory? Yep... We say out loud together all the time at Mass.

  • Just read 1 Corinthians 9: 19-23

  • I agree with you!!

  • Jesus Christ believed in Mary. Scripture says ALL generations will call her blessed.

    Daughter of Father.

    Spouse of Holy Spirit.

    Mother of God.

I would say those are some serious credits.

God bless you. You love God

  • Jesus wants us to honor his mother as he does. It is part of the ten commandments.

  • I'm not saying Mary doesn't deserve honor, the bible does say she is blessed. And I understand how God found such grace in her to allow her to give birth to and raise Jesus. But what commandment is the one you're referring to? I only know of the commandment that says 'Honor YOUR mother and father', not 'Honor MY mother and father'.

  • Greetings Kings Daughter,

When we honor our mother and father we expect others to show them honor as well. That is what I was refering to.

    Regards.

  • Jesus is our brother - his mother is our mother. Also, not only does the bible say she is blessed but that all generations shall call her blessed. So if you call her blessed you are fulfilling the God's promise to Mary.

Also, God didn't find grace in her - He filled her with Grace. Everything beautiful about Mary comes from God the Father. He gave her that grace so that she could be a servant to Christ - just as she was at the wedding of Cana when she said, "Do whatever he (Jesus) tells you."

  • Yes, I'm sorry... I agree all grace is given from God. I really didn't mean to get all this discussion started on neelzen03's video comments, sorry neelzen03! I am glad though that we seem to have come to the very important conclusion that we all love Christ (that's what's most important). And apparently we all like Third Day too (since the video's about them). I love all my brothers and sisters: whether Catholic, Protestant, Lutheran, Anglican and so on...

    Thanks for the video neelzen03!

  • Jesus was and is never your brother , he is God and the redeemer the holy trinity.Believe in the trinity but just respect Mary not as the main theme of worship.God never sent Mary to redeem us.

  • Jesus is our brother. See Hebrew2:11 for just one example "Both the one who makes men holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers"

The Mother of Jesus is Mary. We honor her as our mother. Catholics do not worship Mary. This is a misunderstanding. Jesus is the one who redeems us. The Catholic Church teaches this clearly but but others distort or misunderstand it. We have to work on that in order to live the Truth of Jesus Christ.

  • Sorry to disagree with you about worshiping Mary my Friend, maybe you dont worship Mary, but many catholics indeed worship her as someone that could really hear and aswer the prayers, if you check out the latino catholic and you will be find the Huge idolatry about her especially in my country Brazil, and because they don't read the Bible they don't know that the Bible teach us not to do that !!! cause it is written: Do not make images ...worship only God and God alone... We must pray for them!!

  • Hey ufera, I´m from Brazil! And Catholic cult here is going down, day by day, thanks to Lord Jesus. Nowarday you find in Brazil 5 or 6 real Jesus churchs versus a single Catholic one. But the pope don´t want to reconize that. Jesus is wining the battle in my country thanks God!

  • @ufera .. did you ask them if they worship Mary?? how can you know that some catholics worship mary?? What i know of is that Mary is the best Saint to pray for because she is above all saints and angels.. If we pray to mary im sure god would hear our pray quickly as possible rather than you pray directly to god..

  • what are we? sons of God right?? Jesus is also The son of God right? That make us Brothers of Jesus, We cannot mistake here, He is our redeemer and savior, but our father is God not Jesus The son of God, Jesus said "OUR FATHER WHO ART IN HEAVEN " He didn't Said "MY" father... and also when u pray don't ask Jesus ,ask the Father cause thats is what Jesus told us to do in HIS name, one more time Jesus is our savior and King, but He is NOT our Father cause that would make us "Grandsons of GOd???"

  • @ufera ... the holy trinity says Jesus is God.. Three god in one person..

  • The Bible never said that Mary is OUR mather too !!!!!! neither Jesus said that !!!Mary Was a blessed woman ,she was especial I do agree with that, but the BIBLE don't agree with YOUR particular opinion ok, don't try to tell what is right when u cannot prove according with the BIBLE ok my friend !!!! That's is HERESY !! XXOO

  • prdaniel, with all due respect, as a former Protestant, the bottomline is that Protestantism is not the fullness of the faith. Your love of Christ is great, but you are sitting at an IHOP when the Catholic Church is offering Tavern on the Green.

  • haha yeah i was there too, somewhere in the crowd, i think I missed this because of the food line too, i was in the line for like an hour and a half and then someone said that they only had hot pretzels in the line, and i was like screw it, i don't want to get in another line...but it was amazing, it's crazy how you forget all the waiting and sitting so quickly...

  • thanks for posting this song. this was one of my favorite. what a glorious day it was. I am glad I was able to be apart of it.

  • jfogliasso, omg i was there but i couldn't hear what the pope was saying it was so loud where i was. i was in the back by the blue flag where the newscasters where. do you know where i could find his speech online by anychance. i tried to look but i couln't find it.

  • Third Day was the best band by far, although I've got to say Toby Mac also was great. Kelly Clarkson was...nice...she has a very fine voice but the music didn't fit with the rest of the artists or the spirit of the day. (She did a nice job on the Ave Maria, I'm speaking of her secular music) Papa B's address was inspired and inspiring. If you missed it because you couldn't hear it, PLEASE...READ IT ONLINE!!!

  • Love it..... (though Brad is noticable by his absence really miss his guitar on this one.....but Mark is doing great!)

  • i was totally there yesterday!

i was like righttt in the front.

    great dayy

  • aw i was there(: !

  • What a historic day for Third Day! Thanks for filming this!! What else did they play?

  • I can't remember exactly, but the song where they had everyone dance side to side was called: "I got a feeling", and then the other song they had the whole crowd sing "la da da da da la da da" is going to be coming out on the new album.

  • i was at the youth rally but i missed this because of the 2 hour food line so i missed alot but got back in time for the pope

  • Ummm do you have the other 3 songs? This was awesome!

  • I can't remember exactly, but the song where they had everyone dance side to side was called: "I got a feeling", and then the other song they had the whole crowd sing "la da da da da la da da" is going to be coming out on the new album.
