2SIX--You are quite right in stating that conjoined fraternal twins are impossible. In fact, Daisy and Violet Hilton, who play the sisters in this film were conjoined identical twins in real life. For dramatic effect, they were made to differ in appearance with makeup, hair dye, and different hairstyles.
@2SIXimixedBABIES they're not fraternal, one just died her hair so she could be told apart from her sister. But even a boy and girl could be conjoined if they were in the womb at once. It doesn't matter whether they are fraternal or not.

They took the job at the grocery store. One day, they didn't come in- their manager called the police. When their home was searched, it was discovered that they had both died of influenza, BUT: one of them had died days before the other. Now that's sad.

And about their death, one wonders, were they in such an isolated community that they could not find a medical help? I do feel extra bad for the remaining sister who died days after. It must have been absolutely ghastly.
@Rayarena They were in Charlotte, NC. Hardly isolated. The Hilton's had vowed to leave the world as they had entered it-- together. Though they had loathed doctors since childhood, they had been to see one because Daisy was so ill. He wanted to hospitalize them but they refused. One person maintains that Violet called their employer's wife after Daisy had passed to say good-bye, etc. Violet could have phoned EMS if she had wanted to survive alone and go back on her vow. Sad nonetheless.
The Hilton twins have very beautiful singing voices, it's a shame that there's so much crap music today.
