yea man that's what i went to school for. although, truth be told, i was forced to take a break with 5 classes left and i haven't been back. i ended up mixing what i learned about software engineering with web development, although i didn't learn any web development at the university. so to sum everything up. learn how to be a good object oriented programmer as well as a good web developer. you don't need to be an artist, i'm not. it's really good to know how to slice a photoshop design into css
