Marian Pop sings "Per me giunto" from Don Carlo by G.Verdi

I saw this wonderful singer in Cyrano in Detroit. I couldn't help thinking that he would make a very convincing dramatic tenor - something in his voice (especially on F# and above) reminds me of the great Giuseppe Giacomini. I think a Verdi orchestration would probably overwhelm him in the middle baritone range, but certainly not in the tenor range, where his voice rings so freely!
