I dont understand street fighter there are like 4 version of the same game, seems like a scam for money if you ask me. And what they just did to Marvel versus Capcom is a dick move. Still i like fighting games, if i was to get a street fighter game one series i have stayed away from witch should it be?

Capcom single-handedly resurrected the fighting game genre? Mortal Kombat? Tekken? Virtua Fighter? When did these games become forgotten? Sounds like a bunch of Capcom dick riders to me.

@althegamefreak SF:EX was good but it was never tournament worthy maybe EX3 would be the closest but the thing about it was, it was too bland as were the combos. I am suprised however Bloody Roar was never tournament worhty because that game was balanced more than a lot of games now

@jelaninoel SSB is played just about as seriously as any other fighting games. With items off, and perhaps damage ratio reduced, might I ask why it is NOT considered a fighting game? There are still quick reflexes required, dodging, there are some combos, and your remark makes me think you've never even PLAYED the game. Please watch or participate in a tournament before saying this stuff, and if you ever try to pick a fight on the internet, please give a reason to support your statement. Kthx.

@GannondorkVBA it lost almost all its respect when they released BRAWL. as a big time MELEE player (winning 2 tournaments back in my day) i can say i stopped playing smash bros. becuz of BRAWL. sure it gets my respect, seeing what ally pulls off in tournys is something to behold but its NOTHING compared to what Ken used to pull of in melee
