ya pods are non scoreing units so you can stand to lose them all no problem they just cost the points (40 + upgrades) if you have the extra points you can even equip your pods with shooting weapons like heavy venom cannons and you can make them draw fire way from your other units that my come out of them
toxin sacs are much better than furious charge. i even give my genestealers toxins. wounding on 4+ and rerolling failed wounds is much better than FC in most cases. especially against assaulty armies.
@Spacefrisian that is good enough for eldar, DE, tau, IG, battle sisters and even without reroll, 10 gaunts with toxins can kill daemon prince and night bringer.
you're right about my crying every time my wraithlord needs to face a nid army. i mean hell! it's supposed to be built of wraithbone, SAME MATERIAL AS MY TANKS!! i despise poison.
you can take the msu, units of genestealers thats what ive found. and then the units of zoanthropes and hive guard finish it off with coving anti tank fire. take as many Broodlords as you can, even when ther alone they are usefull.
My friend puts his Doom of Malan'tai in a spore pod, drops it in the most heavily crowded part of the board, the leech powers do the rest. It's annoying since he couples it up with a swarmlord and a trygon.

@huntercd but with S3 they only re-roll to wound vs T3 and most armies you see have T4.

I'm currently playing a heavy drop pod/wings list. This series of videos helped me get some ideas for my list. Thank you
