Actually, the things at the ends of some planes' wings sticking up are called winglets. All planes have wing tips, which is just the tip of the wing, but I think you mean winglets.
To add my 2 cents, Another way to tell the difference between the 757 and the 737 is the Ailerons, 757's is longer and goes from the outboard flap to the wing tip, 737's is shorter,seems half the size of the 757's. Also the flap track fairings seem "boxier" on the 737, squared off trailing edge, 757's has more of a point.
This flight was quiet for one filled with kids who can't wait to see Mickey and Donald.

i love the 737-800 i prefer it with the wing tips....hopefully get a type rating on this end of the year early 09 not bad for 19 yrs of age

the only way for me to tell a 757 and a 737NG apart at wing view, is the split between the 1st and 2nd spoilers on the 73G..
