Although such a marriage can be supported scientifically and by the Bible, further research was done and historical records show she was actually minimum 18 when she married the prophet pbuh.

There are proofs which point to the fact that she was about 15 at the time of nikah (marriage) and 19 at the time of consummation of that marriage. Yes but they way you do it matters. We should not copy the christians by doing it thru songs like chruch, and turns into a new type of way we worship. The prophet tought us how to praise Allah, and singing was not one of them. So it is haram.
Music is the language of god, everyone understands it and it passes through the ear and is felt by the heart. The singing is just an expression of the constant rememberance of God which is outpoured as song. One who truly is against such beauty, is just ignorant.

Going strictly by the text of the Qur'an, for me the term lahv al-hadith appearing in verse 6 of chapter 31 (Luqmaan) is sufficient to believe that God forbids music among other, as well. The words lahv al-hadith imply such a thing as may allure and absorb a listener completely and make him heedless of everything else around him. Thats exactly what qawwalis do.
Prayer does the same thing. Another point is that if I say "Praise be to God" then you would have no objection, but if I sang the same words with notes, you would have to object because I have just made it into music.

nahyank this is not the way to do prophecy by critic others.Find mistakes within yourself first coz everyday human forget their shit is smelly.i apologise for my word to critic this fellow.SO dont point at Ustad Nusrat fateh Ali Khan sahab who however praise almighty & i belive almighty is watching niyat not the mechanical prayers which are performed 5 times.Now you answer me where it is written in Quran perform 5 time prayers?where it is written after every al fatiha and other ayat must sujud?

i have learned from an imam at my Tarwaeh prayers is that judge yourself before allah(SWT)judges u on the day of judgment like keep Talley of all the bad things and good thing you have done in one day and then at the end of the months you Talley them up and see if you have earned yourself a one way ticket to Jannah

Yet, the truth is, that those who claim to accept the word of the Qur'an and reject in principle, what is ordered by the Prophet (Sall Allah o alaihe wa Sallam), are rejecting the Qur'an itself. They may stay "Muslim" in legal terms, but they will not be regarded Muslims and believers in the Final Judgment.

Quran is also in poetry and it is good to recite in a beautiful voice... see that is Arabic and singing in a beautiful voice the Holy words is allowed in the same way Urdu and Punjabi is our language taking the name of Allah in a lyric is allowed.

The Prophet when conquered Mecca he was presented with a poem where he was called the Sword of Hindustan. The Prophet loved the poem and corrected it to Sword of Islam

not all songs are good, but songs like "Revolutionary Songs", "Praises of Allah" , "Praises of Mohammed pbuh" and "for Peace and Harmony" and Social Reasons are good Love songs or songs that use Illicit lyrics are bad they take your mind off of impt things

Second of all, nobody is perfect, that's how Allah created us, and so everybody has his own ways of being good, you do that by not listening to musical instruments, some people do it by giving almost every breath they have to save poor people and charity..

nahyank, You are quoting from Hadith (sayings of people - many of which were thrown out as fabrications/lies - and many of the existing ones which are not good should also be thrown out) which is not the same as word of Allah in the QURAN. If you have reference in the QURAN then let us all know.

Going strictly by the text of the Qur'an, for me the term lahv al-hadith appearing in verse 6 of chapter 31 (Luqmaan) is sufficient to believe that God forbids music among other, as well. The words lahv al-hadith imply such a thing as may allure and absorb a listener completely and make him heedless of everything else around him. Thats exactly what qawwalis do.

Prayer does the same thing. Another point is that if I say "Praise be to God" then you would have no objection, but if I sang the same words with notes, you would have to object because I have just made it into music.

Thank you for posting this. I have loved to listen to Nusrat for about twenty years and this is a very good video. My husband who died sixteen years ago knew Nusrat back in Faisalabad. When Faizi was alive, we listened to Nusrat always. My daughter's first words were ALLAH HOO. She is eighteen now.
