I only have one... well, technically 2, but only one that I put on there....
I got a regular old CD with one of them gigantic floppy antenna guys hooked up on my STANDARD SHIFT ( hell yea) GMC Sierra.
Also, a secret, between u and me, because I'll never admit this, I have a MASSIVE bullhorn hooked up under the engine block and wired into the PA setting on my CB radio... I get louder than most cop cars when I tell somebody to get outta the road ;)
@breetown123 Yeah, I listen to all the repeaters in my service area, for maintenance reasons which covers a wide range of bands, also I listen to any tip-off of SHTF radio chatter. Yeah, I thought about putting a 100 watt PA bullhorn on my vehicle too, but interfaced with my radio alarm where I could transmit from my handheld to the vehicle out the PA. never got around to it. I would pay good money to see punks shit their pants when I remotely yell at them from the PA.
Having a PA in a vehicle amazes people as it is, but a PA/Alarn which can be yelled out of remotely... now THAT is some serious shit.
Some serious GEEK shit, but that's the best kind!
How exactly would ya set that up? Or maybe not set it up so much as what would happen to the signal once it left ur handheld, how exactly would it end up coming out of PA?
@breetown123 Sounds like a good topic for a video, let the hackery begin. Off the cuff, I'll use the modified Alinco ham radio that has the theft alarm feature, when the radio wakes up from standby alarm mode, the DC power module will be active, I could tap that signal to drive a mosfet or relay to power up the PA, the speaker output will be in parrallel with the PA input, and wallah, instant angry man ready to take care of biz. I'll work on it, have some other topics I like to cover first.
I'm lookin' forward to that big time, but I'm watchin the other vids you got up right now, so... by the looks of it, I think it's fair to say that anything you upload, atleast in my opinion, its going to be outta-control-interesting.
This is MY KIND of stuff right here.
I did a vid for NeverEnuffAmmo called "vid response to N.E.A. -- MeeceKangs audio gear and set up".
Which is NOT this level of tech, but... idk, I'm a geek, too, that's all lol
Did that corolla ever see a carwash in it's lifetime?
