@vaultbull706 kendall cross had a very unique wrestling style. a lot of his techniques would be considered "bad form" by a lot of coaches teaching new wrestlers. he was able to use his flexibility to turn "bad form" into scoring opportunities. watch his videos of the 96 olympics or his ncaa championship win.

Also, Kendall beating Terry Brands in the Olympic trials was a bit of an upset because Brands had beaten him a few times between the 1992 and 1996 Olympics and was the reigning World Champ.
