Jake Shields has made a career of taking fights where he is the underdog. He will give up weight and Henderson is an elite fighter. A big test for a small MW.

I like both guys in this one, but I'm pulling for Shields.

@13seven13 true he is the underdog, but very talented and has a shot at basically anyone. Going up in weight and taking on all challenges, he is a winner regardless but never count him out. I think he can pull it off, it just depends on who is on point that night. In the end its a sport, but he is a great guy so pulling for him.

Jake is a good guy, but Henderson would smash him. I don't see Jake being able to handle Souza, either. He could beat Melvin, though, provided he got the takedown quickly. Very quickly.

Jake has made his career taking chances, he has been the underdog in six of his last 13 fights. But Hendo is a HUGE Risk.

Henderson is ranked #2 MW and #4 LHW, Jake has fought at 170lbs for the last 10 years, 7 months ago he moved up to 185lbs. While Hendo was fighting HW, LHW, and MW..

Henderson has a win and a loss with Big Nog 240lbs. Big man and.big move, but Shields is cool under fire and will find a way to bring it to his world.

Shields moved up 15lbs just 7 months ago. He's gone from a walk around weight of 182lbs up to 190lbs. Really what big WW's weigh.

He did it for the same reason Nick Diaz said last night, there are no opponents in Strikeforce at WW.

There are 3 top 10 and several top 20 fighters at MW, it is the strongest division in SF.

A big move from his natural weight. Shields is a monster at 170 lbs.

I just read that GSP weighs 192-193lbs when not cutting for a fight.
