@Gaidengear Well, it did come before Persona 3, but the rap samples (work that body, dance while I put you in a trance, etc.) were definitely used in English house/hip-hop music way before either game's music was composed.
or how sophia's parents met their ends... with fate they didn't allow much time for both the player and character to mourn, while on the other hand sophia had some screen time too.
also i only remembering this song during the battle in the game tower(forgot the name, something about 250 floors) with the black and white boss. i'm currently re-re-playing it, so ill see if im wrong sooner or later, but i just wanted to say it.
the most heart rending scene (dont get me wrong i like the game but not for its story) wasn't all that sad... they only show (b4 that event) once in the beginning when their separated(counting the beach along with it), and faytes concern with his family ends after he boards the escape pod.
his death is far to sudden, no chance to get attached, and the english dub rubs salt into it.
the event where they find out what they are and what they're parents were doing had more of an impact.
Holy Shit! This is the original version of the song from persona 3?

"Work that body, make sure you don't hurt nobody"
Isn't that same line used in a persona 3 song?

Might I ask which scene this is? If you don't want to post it, then send it to me in a message, if you can.

When Fayt's dad dies and you fight the boss right afterward.

@Voretus Oh, on Moonbase before you enter 4D?

No, in that one prison ruins-type thing on Elicoor II I think, right before the Vendeeni teleport in.
I might be remembering kind of strangely due to having played the game so LONG ago, though.
