That he was drunk and so where the others in the band and then he started playing this little riff which was a bit difficult because you're fingers cross eachother, so he played it till he got it and then the rest of the band came in, and Axl started thinking about the lyrics :D

Adler and Izzy were 2 huge players in making the band.
The original 4 created something amazing. People rant over Axl and other Rant over Slash but at the end of the day, all 4 created this machine they were ALL instrumental in one way or another for the breakup.

there's not a single song slash wrote alone in GNR. here's some songs izzy wrote ALONE:
patience, bad obsession, double talking jive, pretty tied up, used to love her.
some songs he co-wrote with axl:
Dont Cry, 14 years, You Could be Mine, Youre crazy, Think About You, Anything Goes.
the main riff of Nightrain is Izzy's. Dust n Bones is mostly izzy with some contribution from duff/ slash.
axl and izzy have more song-writing credits than anybody. look up the record and see.

Guns N Roses is never the same and fuck anyone who says different. the only origonal member is Axl. and in my opinion, everyone else (Slash,Duff,Matt,Izzy) have done waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay fuckin better than Axl. I would love to see them do a reunion before they get old in stuff. but man whatever Axl has against Slash or whatever he needs to just let it go! life is to short to be holding grudges against poeple!

Adler and Izzy were 2 huge players in making the band.
The original 4 created something amazing. People rant over Axl and other Rant over Slash but at the end of the day, all 4 created this machine they were ALL instrumental in one way or another for the breakup.
Every band has its hayday and I'm glad I saw them when they had it (late 80's to early 90's).
Instead of everyone slating various members (or ex members) of the band. Why not just appreciate what once was?

To be honest if you look at any Axl live footage since the real band spilt up it's just the same. Axl just strolling. I know he's getting older. But look at Steve Tyler or Mick Jagger they still put on a show. Anyhow Gnr died in 1993.
