  • I do agree.

    Less butter is better.

I think if we are careful about reading serving sizes and nutrition labels we could fit this sandwich into our diet occasionally, as a treat.

    It is so good.

  • When I saw her spreading butter on the muffins I literally thought "this is going to kill someone"

  • I think of Canadian Bacon as something special, better than just ham.

Maybe it has something to do with the way it is sliced. I will have to look into it.

    Thanks for the comment.

  • Why do Americans call it Canadian bacon? In Canada we call it ham and we call normal bacon bacon. But thanks for the vid! It looks delicious :)

  • SO NICE. Just had one but with bacon <3

  • thanks

  • nice

  • Sweet cooking, Sweet cooker ! :D

  • Compared to what is on the menu at the Breakfast food places. 2-3 eggs, 2-3 slices of bacon,Cheese, pancakes and potatoes, and that is all on the same plate.

One egg sandwich is pretty tame.

Granted there are always better choices.

  • That looks delicious! :)

  • I made this ring out of a tuna can. I cooked it with 2 eggs and the sandwich was good. I found a corn can that is slightly bigger but I was able to get a cleaner cut on both side. I love eggs cooked this way. If I get a jar lid, I will try it this way.

  • Sounds Fantastic!

    Thank you for your comment.

  • i know everyones got their own way.. i just wanna add the following... toast the inside of the muffin halves only.. and dont go heavy with the toaster oven ..they dont need much.. now back off and get your own damn sandwich

  • OK, it never really looked like bacon so that makes much more sense. These sandwiches are only for the passengers. Drivers be aware no eating and driving!

    Thanks for the comment.

  • I would like to point out that it is called ham not canadian bacon'. This conning from a canadian. Great idea I'll make one! Oh an please don't eat and drive :(

  • @peaceout3733

Back bacon (called Irish bacon or Canadian bacon in the United States) comes from the loin in the middle of the back of the pig. It is a very lean, meaty cut of bacon, with less fat compared to other cuts. It has a ham-like texture. Most bacon consumed in the United Kingdom is back bacon.

  • You are very, very welcome.

    Margie

  • What a good idea for making eggs round to fit the muffin, i'd have never thought of using a jar lid, definately going to try this recipe out. Thanks for sharing :)

  • I am going to add a note to my video that it would be best not to eat and drive, because of course doing anything else while driving is a bad idea.

    Thank you for your comment

    Happy Holidays!

  • Nice save with the egg - looked like you almost lost it there. Very nice job - an egg mcmuffin at home, but please, do not eat and drive.

    Margie

  • Thank you, I think Egg McMuffins are my favorite breakfast! Mostly I eat them at Mcdonalds, but it is nice to be able to make them at home. I am a visiting nurse and I eat out more than I should. Probably the only thing better than Egg McMuffins is Mcdonalds Coffee!!!!!

Yeah than ring work really well but don't forget to butter it well.

  • great idea about the ring! i never thought of that!!
