did know Asia personally. We grew up in the same area, went to the same school, and both participated in the Ecorse marching band. She was indeed a ver sweet humble and just all around beautiful person. Her her father and 2 sisters lived on 15th street. Her family didnt have money but they were very close and very respectful of one everyone even when people werent to them. Point being. She was taken away for no reason at all. A great deal of compassion is given for this "person" that just needed so much psychological help and was "hurting." I think even more should be given to the young lady that was killed.
We are all facing our own hardships, and I would presume that most would not use a weapon on another human being, regardless of their internal struggles.

I did the video about Tony because I knew him from You Tube and interacted with him online prior to the shooting. I had not knowledge of the young lady until I heard about what he did. If I had known her and interacted with her instead of Tony...who knows? Maybe this video would have been about her.

He never would have sought counselling when he was alive. my mom always told me its best to have hobbies (something that makes us happy). its good to work 8 hours a day but what we gonna do after we get off work just lie around till the next day, all that does is create depression. its up to us to find something to do off the side to make us feel better, nobody can't help another person unless they help themselves first.
Really appreciate your comments. My father is currently suffering from dementia and being black this medical condition is often stigmatized and people generally view the person as being "crazy". Tony was clinically sick and according to the reports he was not taking his prescribed medication. Any efforts to counsel him would have fell on deaf ears. We as black people in particular need to educate ourselves and simply help or family members or friends.
@chico5817 Yes, more people need to know about these mental illnesses and what to do if a family member needs help. From what I'm hearing, we cannot legally make anybody take medicine, so I guess the next best thing to do is to seek counsel from professionals when we have a loved one who is off their meds.

I feel like that's beginning to change. I work for a Psychology firm and the directors are black men and women. And they encourage blacks to come in for mental support.
I think the problem is not what tony has been through but they way he thinks about love and women! we as humens are taught that only beautiful people can have love and that undesirable people will be lonely people for the rest of their lives we've all thought that way once or twice! if we change the way we think about relationships we can improve our happiness in life.

In the Medical and Nursing profession you can not force a patient to take their medication, or they have the right to refuse. People with a mental condition take their medication to help them or in simple terms make them fell better. A lot of the time these patients think "I feel better now so why should I continue to take my meds" and do stop taking them but don't realise that it is the wrong thing to do. Even a patient in a psychiatric ward can not be forced to take medications.
@krissyeh I guess it's wrong to force them to take medication. I can see how it takes away from their human rights...but it's dangerous for some of them to go without medication.

It's what you could call "being stuck between a rock and a hard plate". Over here (Australia) it is as I stated before; if a person shows signs of self harm they can be held in a psychiatric ward under constant observation, the same with a patient having psychotic episodes. In a way, the body is easy to treat but the mind is the hardest. Cheers.
Cont: Also there can be no blame on the police, they have their hands tied. They can go and check out a situation but if they can't actually see that a person is going to harm themselves or others there is not much they can do. I say this for some are saying that links to his videos were sent to the police. The only way (over here) when a patient can have meds forced on them is when it is an extreme eposode and only be ordered by a specialist not an ordinary doctor on that ward.........

Really appreciate your comments. My father is currently suffering from dementia and being black this medical condition is often stigmatized and people generally view the person as being "crazy". Tony was clinically sick and according to the reports he was not taking his prescribed medication. Any efforts to counsel him would have fell on deaf ears. We as black people in particular need to educate ourselves and simply help or family members or friends.

From what I'm hearing, we cannot legally make anybody take medicine, so I guess the next best thing to do is to seek counsel from professionals when we have a loved one who is off their meds.

In the Medical and Nursing profession you can not force a patient to take their medication, or they have the right to refuse. People with a mental condition take their medication to help them or in simple terms make them fell better. A lot of the time these patients think "I feel better now so why should I continue to take my meds" and do stop taking them but don't realise that it is the wrong thing to do. Even a patient in a psychiatric ward can not be forced to take medications.

It's what you could call "being stuck between a rock and a hard plate". Over here (Australia) it is as I stated before; if a person shows signs of self harm they can be held in a psychiatric ward under constant observation, the same with a patient having psychotic episodes. In a way, the body is easy to treat but the mind is the hardest. Cheers.

Cont: Also there can be no blame on the police, they have their hands tied. They can go and check out a situation but if they can't actually see that a person is going to harm themselves or others there is not much they can do. I say this for some are saying that links to his videos were sent to the police. The only way (over here) when a patient can have meds forced on them is when it is an extreme eposode and only be ordered by a specialist not an ordinary doctor on that ward.........

I'm sure both families are struggling and that his family has an unbelievable amount of guilt about this. He was too old to force into a facility and this was the outcome. You are one of the few, but unfortunately there were so many other people that egged him on and added to his hurt. It is a tragic event on both ends....Asia for not knowing what he thought of her and how he felt for her so that she could address it. Nut we don't know, and secondly Tony he was battling some demons and he lost. I see that there was some effort made, but he was unable to be brought back.

@LadiJai2108 I am sorry but how is she responsible for his mental health. This man was a fully functioning adult who knew perfectly well that he had a mental disorder that required medication. He did not want to take it and evidently did not according to interviews with his parents.
This poor girl had no responsibility to know about his feelings or to address them. In fact, according to new sources and his family he had no relationship or communication with her at all.

Sad..very tragic. You know, So many times when things like this happen we say"I would of never seen this comin" or "I did'nt see any red flags"..But in reality...we saw this commin' and we usually do...we just don't reach out to do anything about it. We stand back and watch...like it's entertainment. It's sad all around.

once again another great video by mr junebug. What tony had was nothing more than depression people keep saying that he had other mental problem but in my opinion it was nothing more than major depression. People dont realize the effect that major depression can have on some. I myself use to comment on his videos. And I could see his anger and I agreed with most of the stuff that he talked about. I heard he killed her because she rejected him.

@kambridge967 She did not reject him. According to new sources and his family he had no communication or any sort of relationship with her at all. As far as this poor girl knew he was just another person in one of her classes.

my heart goes out to both sets of parents i will prey for them no disrespect to anyone but why is that when something happens and it is a black person that does the
