I'm currently playing this again with Leon's cop outfit and Ashley's "cowgirl" outfit, and I enjoy this theme. Everytime I hear this track, I get a feeling of protection; I'm in an area where the Ganados can't reach Leon and Ashley.

@TheKiller3214 when RE5 first came out i did not like it that much...i hated the fact that you had to play the entire game with a buddy, be it AI or played by someone. Over time i started to like RE5 a lot, played it through many times on all difficulties and unlockling all the stuff was real fun. Visually and in terms of design it is a great game, but if you ask me i would like it even more if there would have been an option to play it without a buddy. RE4 is still the best, RE5 is great too.

i would have prefered to go at it alone, without a stupid AI partner. Inventory system was imo better in RE4. RE5 brings nothing new to the RE4 formula. the combination of fast pace, slower and less hectic moments, interactive cutscenes and surprises was better in RE4. My first comment may have been a bit too negative...RE5 is a great game that i really enjoyed once i got used to the ai partner. Both games are must-plays for me.

@thehippofarts I think your right it doesnt suit him. but in all fairness its not the merchants theme. the point of the music is to give some sort of relaxation and assurance of safety after such full on gameplay. though i do think the composer could have come up with a merchant theme maybe to be played just subtly during the buying menu and having "serenity' play just when you're in the vicinity of the merchant.
