  • Simply Beautiful !!!!!!!!

  • touching and lovely (esp hugging the tzitzit!)

  • A Jewish joke:starts "M"& ends"e".Me.Belief in G-D is every human's.Faith in G-D is our own work as we are taught in Chabad "to hone our faith as a craftsman improves his craft."Craft& Belief" both words share the same Hebrew rootword.EMuN. Loving G-D first depends on my willing & to love all G-D's children & adults.Having general human paths,12 Tribe paths,a 13th Tribe for the unsure&our own individual life path in time &space.COMMON trait of people is sharing the sources in The One Infinite.

  • May the Lord's peace and love be with you always, my brother.

  • Beautiful gesture, I Wonder what it is this song in the back ground, does anyone know?

  • So beautiful!

  • This man is a beautiful light in this world. How lovingly his devotion. The very existence of him warms my soul.

  • lol

  • mashallah boykott israel boykott the jewish people longlive palestina, libnon & The great Islamic Republic IRAN

  • I have a quistion why did he hug that cloth? does that simbolize gods loving hug or the never ending love on which he gives to us? I feel as that blanket is like gods love wrapped around him i saw this and felt so good.

  • yes, and more. One great part about Judaism, is that two Jews will give you three answers to a question, none of them are wrong, just unpopular. Another reason is to wrap oneself in the mitzvot. The knots and wraps in the tzitziot (corner fringes) add up to 613, the number of mitzvot. Some mitzvot you do with your hands, some your mind, some your heart, and for some this mitzva combines all of those as you truly wrap yourself with it.

A beautiful video.I just want to hug this man, like zayde

  • wow tell me more, I don't like religion I dont like people telling me how to worship god , my moral sense will guide me thats why im human not an animal but any religion who truly wants you or any person to open up inward and not to a church or people but open up to god and want you to feel instead of showing it off is good for me! ive had nothing but bad experiences with religion but never had trouble with god. so beautiful it feels to feel peace. Enlighten ur self to be closer to ur maker

  • I sure do wish I could get my comments to stack properly underneath others.Anyway, epiphone112689, I don't know where you are in the country, but maybe there is a renewal shul there in your area.Conservative and Reform are fairly open too. Most shuls (synagogues) that aren't orthodox welcome outsiders to services and some classes and discussions.Keep your heart and mind open to the positive aspects of spiritual community, it can truly be a blessing. If you have specific questions,PM me,I'll try...

  • ...to answer. Or leave them here and others can respond as well. Shalom aleichem.

  • bless you i feel your love

  • "From strength to strength !", and "All of Beloved G-d's glories!" : ) to wonderfully warm, "haymishe" : ) ["down home" Yiddish-style... haha : )], engaging, and most kind and wise Reb Zalman, and all magnificently good, kind, and loving humans, Jew and Gentile, the world over ! : )

  • Thank you for posting this.

L'shalom - go in and to peace.

  • Thank you for posting...

  • May the LORD bless Israel & the jewish people..Your friend....The Gentile

  • What a sweet redbonesmikia!

    :-)

    All the best to you!

    Your friend, the Jewish person

  • Renewal, a movement started by Reb Zalman and others, is not a denomination he says (who needs more division?). Some call it "egalatarian Orthodox" or "Neo-Hassid". Women do wear tallitot, tefilin, and kippot, and a good many are also very great Rabbis.

  • So beautiful. We need to cling to HaShem and always remember even in hard times he is always there. Shalom to everyone.

  • This kind of faith in the older generations strengthens the younger generations and upholds them. We need to see more of our elders vibrant, faithful, cleaving to HaShem. Thank you for a beautiful video.

  • simple and deep.

  • I am very interested in learning more... do you fold the tallit a special way to put it away?

Is it true that a Jewish person is buried with a tallis?

    Can women wear tallit?

shalom and thank you for sharing your faith,

    blessings, grace

  • Shalom. Talis does not have to be folded in any special way as long as its respectful. Women do not wear Talis. And yes, a Jew is burried in a talis.

  • @Halalsilks People fold the Tallit neatly so the Tzitzits (those fringes on the corners) are on one side so they are kept neatly. a Jewish male is burried in his Tallit with the Tzitzit removed.

Depending on who you ask about it. The Conservitive and Reform movments will say a woman may wear a Tallit. The Orthodox will say no.

    Hope this helps. Shalom

  • I knew a truly spiritual man like Reb Zalman would use tzitzis with t'chelet! Yishar koach!

  • Simply beautiful. Thank you for posting.

  • Beautiful. Todah.

  • Agreed. Simply beautiful. Shalom
