@mikewibzeez i don't think it's a shame people listen to this because of projects. the point of a school assignment is to learn. maybe students will be interested in poe during their projects. i'm a senior in high school, and we watched this documentary in class last year. i loved poe before i saw it, as well as after. not all teens are ignorant.

@silirain well poe's stepfather was a jerk and treated his women like dirt and poe believed that women should be treated with respect... alcohol became his downfall, because all of the hard struggles in his life made him drink to the point to his death,.. most of the stories he wrote are based on his struggles of everyday life, like love ones, money, drinking, feeling a sense of guilt, like it was all his fault for the things that happen to him...and i'm not sure how poe is his own worst enemy
It's a shame that the only reason that people watch this or even look up Poe is just because they are doing a project or something on him. He was a genius, R.I.P. Edgar.
@mikewibzeez indeed, but remember that these are just kids in their teens, when they grow up they will remember poe's greatness and will hopefully become truly interested in reading and learning about poe cheers
