Who are trying to kid? NO WAY you are shooting a REAL M1A1 Thompson. The .45 cal. round has recoil. What ever it is you are shooting appears to have almost no recoil. I've fired a semi auto Thompson and I can tell you that there is a large muzzle rise.

The gun in the video is the real deal. The Thompson is a relatively heavy gun, so the recoil is actually not that bad.
