I stopped eating pork and any other meat/poultry/fish last year, so yeah, I see a sentient being, not food. Not saying that eating an animal is evil--though I hate factory farming--just animal cruelty. Animals need love and resepct too.

It ain't the owner's fault. Either the pig kept overeating from scraps it found outside or people were overfeeding the pig.

The owner obviously just let the pig wander around the area, and the pig decided to get too greedy with its food.

Tell that to my dogs. My dogs stops eating food once they're full. ...then I end up having to wash down and toss out the scraps in the bowls.

I think some animals don't hold themselves back, but not all of them. I've seen a good number of animals never finishing their foods, same with animals of the same species that devour the whole thing.
