  • Ismay, lightoller, jack thayer survived, and Carl G. Hoventer whasn't even born! noob

  • my great great grand dad was on Titanic :((( it must of been a horrible experienc, it makes me feel so sad when i think of all those ppl who died at that night...

  • ismay did not die on the titanic

  • maybe the meaning of 1907-1912 is a period where titanic was built

  • Really great video!!

  • the titanic was april 10-14,1912 not 1907

  • April the 10th - April the 15th 1912

  • it realy was 1909-1912 is when she was around

  • @TheCamille96 im sorry if the information shown in the video is not accurate - i got all my references from wikipedia

  • hmn...... that sinking warned us early about global warming, with icebergs from greenland breaking off, but they just never figured out the sinking was a warning

  • They said it was unsinkable. When she sank, it was unthinkable

  • Wow i dint know titanic was a girl still i miss the people died in titanic even j. dawson idk if its jack dawson or james dawson but i saw in google!

  • You do realize that the lovers from the movie weren't real people, right?

  • "No Ship Is Ever Unsinkable"

  • @KarisDorgHistory: It wasn't Captain Smith's fault in the slightest. Titanic was indeed going at a considerable pace; around 20 knots or so. However, Smith had made numerous precautions to avoid icebergs; he changed Titanic's course to avoid a larger ice field, and there were some boilers which were never lit. He is certainly one of the last people to blame for such a disaster.

If you want anything to blame, then blame calm seas, no moon and no binoculars.

  • ok i was just refering to what im lerning in school. there are so many arguments about iff it was the captins falt or not.

but i no that the ship was going to fast

  • Calm seas yes, but it was later proven that having binoculars wouldn't have made a difference because of the striking cold, and, once again, very very calm seas. I'm not trying to correct you, i just wanted to let you know.

  • Thank you, that is very good to know that the lack of binoculars probably wouldn't have made a difference. Come to think of it, that's actually fairly understandable.

  • I saw a special on trying to determine facts aboutt the sinking that were assumed but never proven, and that was one that they actually proved wouldn't have really effected the situation.

  • it was the captains fault to go full speed

  • not bein a smartass...but he didnt want to, it was bruce ismay and the white star line that wanted to do it, to be in new york sooner, break records, etc etc......and plus, people honestly believed it was unsinkable....till they saw that huge ass iceberg and thought, "ehhh shit maybe we were wrong".

  • I could explain the historical errors in your post in great length, but I'll sum it up in a few sentences.

    1. Bruce Ismay never interfered with the speed of Titanic prior to April 14th. He did, however, have a brief discussion with Chief Engineer Bell about having a speed trial on April 15th; weather permitting. There was no interest in breaking records.

    2. The WSL had no interest in speed. Titanic and her sisters were constructed for luxury and size.

    3. Don't listen to James Cameron's movie.

  • the captain didnt order to go full speed you dumb shit

  • @cmtrains: Please read my comment to KarisDorgHistory.

  • Actually really sad....but in the same token shouldn't have said God couldn't sink it.

  • I always wonder... why cant the people make a Titanic 2 same design, and with stronger harder steel?

  • i always think that. they made the queen mary 2 so why not a second titanic. everythin exactly the way it was except for the steel

  • we must of had poor enginering

  • why did like every steam ship back then sink, i mean there wasnt alot that didnt

  • great video but there was a small mistake, molly brown and bruce ismay were shown in the victim bit, but the important fact is they werent fictional

  • there lieing to you all they want you to beleve it was the titanic that sanke well it did but not in 1912 it was the identical ship made to fool people into beleving it go to titanic conspericy im telling you the reel titanik sunk latter on with noone onborde so onle white star would know.

  • yeah and i suppose elvis is still alive too?

  • (dont forget its sisters), britannic (hospital ship)and olmpic (same as titanic)

  • 1907 ???

  • 1907 The buildig of titanic begins.

  • the R.M.S Titanic was finised actully in 1911 then it was used in 1912.
