I always thought a pepper spray canister that attached to the accessory rail of your gun might be a good idea. An example use might be a guy with a knife robbing the store you're in or a mean dog that is about to attack. You could use the spray and if the guy or dog attacked you anyway your gun is already pointed at him or it.
Oh and here is something you guys will find very interesting. In my state of South Australia, Kubotan's are not considered prohibited weapons. However, in the state of Victoria they are a prohibited weapon and if you are caught carrying one, you can get a fine of up to $56,073 dollars or 4 years imprisonment. Yet, with a kitchen knife, it is a controlled weapon which attracts a $28,036 fine or 2 years imprisonment. Seriously, can anyone find the logic here?
Logic is never a factor in weapons laws... It is always fear mongering and emotional appeal, of which leaves out the ability for people to use reason, facts and common sense.....

Man my uncle made some awesome deer jerky that I guess he made excess and let us have that was just too good. Very spicy at first but after eating it a while you got used to it and it was just so good.

The new youtube beta is crap i agree, There have been countless vids on not just parners but just youtube viewers expressing their annoyance at the new design. Besides the countless pretitions etc calling for it to be an optional change, youtube have ignored it. I havent yet met a youtuber who tells me they like it, Yes it may make the site look a litle more modern or slick, but it fails at practicality. I hope youtube come to their senses and at least make it an option. I totally agree.
Also: great idea to get pepper spray! Just a note though.. you should practise using it just like you would practise pulling out and using a gun for self defense. Also, you should try the stuff on yourself. I know it sounds painful as hell (and it is), but without knowing the degree of stopping force it has, you will not be able to use it properly when you have to. You also want to hit the eyes and nostrils in the first spray.

Unchecked deer populations pose a threat to local vegetation, especially crops. They also pose a risk to drivers..
There are certain times in the year, you can drive from Pennsylvania to New Jersey and the deer will just be lined up on the side of the road for miles...and I do mean miles... One trip we saw 30+ deer in a 2 mile stretch... it was ridiculous.
In my opinion non of these 4 should be permitted to hunt any other animal then those who are realy overpopulated in relation to its foodsource or to the point of being a pest, damaging to its environnement...
-the thrillseeker who hunts just for the fun of being in the outdoors or for the fun of killing an animal
-the shopping mall tourist who thinks nature is just like a big mall and hunting is just a means to get meat and souvenirs in another way then at the butcher no matter if its damaging nature or not.
-the real survivor who hunts for meat or hides to survive only
-the caretaker who hunts to help control animal population and only kills for that sole reason.
i think hunting is fine if you are professinal i hate people that hit animals in the leg and leave them to bleed to death if you are good then the animals dont feel anything

I hate the new youtube layout. Not only does it make it harder to browse through the content, but they got rid of 2 important features. 1. The length of the video is not displayed so you have no idea if it's 5 or 50 mins.
2. You can't create a custom quicklist when your viewing a person's channel. Lots of times people will break content into multiple segments and there not always in order.. It was easy in old layout just to click the little "plus" and just string them to play together.

Hum, are you talking about the format where the video list is on the right and the video is in a small window on the left? If so, then I found there is a button on the top right side near the video list that will change it to a thumbnail style format similar to the old listing style.
I think hunting and eating meat is a personal choice. Kinda like cigarettes, alcohol or cannabis for that matter. Even if you did hunt and they don't want to watch your vids any more. I don't see it as a loss.
I understand that people need to hunt to control the population. What i think is stupid is when someone goes out with all there gear and goes up into a tree and and baits the animal and shoots them from 30 yards away with an incredibly accurate rifle. the deer have no chance and people are hunting the biggest healthiest buck. the way nature works is that animals like wolves target the weak and old and let the young and healthy prosper.
Not stupid..like you said your aiming for the biggest buck possible and baiting and waiting in a tree are your best choices for getting that. You're hunting for sport these days. killing a deer for most people is just for sport not out of survival. You can always go to Krogers and buy meat. ;)
But it takes the fun out of it. I think its more rewarding to sit there in a ground blind waiting for a deer to walk by maybe a hundred yards away and then killing it with skill.
It's actually pretty nice sitting in the stand waiting it's all quiet and peaceful should give it a try you'd actually enjoy it..gives you time to think about stuff as well but i can see what your saying but that would take along time to get a deer because they can smell you along ways away..you'd have a better chance of stalking or something like that in the midwest where you have alot of open land.
my freind told me a story him and his dad told his aunt cause she lives in the woods if you see a deer shoot it we will take it and use it for food so one day she says a deer and shoots it once doesnt kill it so shoots it once more and it drops dead so while skinning it they find one bullet but not the other it turns out she shout the pour thing in the gonads lol what a way to die

awesome news about the bali's. and keep in mind if you get someone on some serious drugs attacking you they might be able to take the pain but a tazer/stun gun will make they're muscles contract and theirs no way around that, but you only get a short window of them being "tazed" while pepper spray will keep burning.

I think hunting is a sport that shouldnt be banned at any reason, ofcource now im meanings that we should keep it under legal basis, such as only hunting att specific times of the year and only hunting pest animals such as boars or foxes at basis when they heart the surronding enviroment.

Any manner of animals can hurt the surrounding environment..
Unchecked deer populations pose a threat to local vegetation, especially crops. They also pose a risk to drivers..
There are certain times in the year, you can drive from Pennsylvania to New Jersey and the deer will just be lined up on the side of the road for miles...and I do mean miles... One trip we saw 30+ deer in a 2 mile stretch... it was ridiculous.

-the thrillseeker who hunts just for the fun of being in the outdoors or for the fun of killing an animal
-the shopping mall tourist who thinks nature is just like a big mall and hunting is just a means to get meat and souvenirs in another way then at the butcher no matter if its damaging nature or not.
-the real survivor who hunts for meat or hides to survive only

It is good that you want a non lethal weapon, but dont underestimate the intimidations factor as you put it. I got jumped once in Belgian, real life story no bs, by 5 immigrants who wanted to take my money, I punched the first guy in the face and he wend down, and the others realised that I was ready to defend myself and ran. Had I had a gun / knife those guys would also have legged it and I wouldnt have to get my hands dirty. So dont underestimate intimidation.

I hate the new youtube layout. Not only does it make it harder to browse through the content, but they got rid of 2 important features. 1. The length of the video is not displayed so you have no idea if it's 5 or 50 mins.
2. You can't create a custom quicklist when your viewing a person's channel. Lots of times people will break content into multiple segments and there not always in order.. It was easy in old layout just to click the little "plus" and just string them to play together.

But yeah, our government has no logic towards self defense. Only one state allows pepper spray, but even then you need "reasonable grounds" to carry it.

I understand that people need to hunt to control the population. What i think is stupid is when someone goes out with all there gear and goes up into a tree and and baits the animal and shoots them from 30 yards away with an incredibly accurate rifle. the deer have no chance and people are hunting the biggest healthiest buck. the way nature works is that animals like wolves target the weak and old and let the young and healthy prosper.

awesome news about the bali's. and keep in mind if you get someone on some serious drugs attacking you they might be able to take the pain but a tazer/stun gun will make they're muscles contract and theirs no way around that, but you only get a short window of them being "tazed" while pepper spray will keep burning.
