Well I watch The Vampire Diaries AND Lost and love Boone and Damon exactly the same! They're both amazing but completely different characters! And no, I didn't start watching Lost because of Ian Somherhalder, and Boone is not my favorite character because he is Damon Salvatore cuz I love Boone for Boone and Damon for Damon. ♥

you notice that the baby's name was Aaron who was born when Boone died? Aaron Boone, the yankee who killed the redsox in 2003, the year before the season started in which the sox won the world series which was something mentioned on Lost a bunch of times.

They were only dead in the flashes of season 6.

Jack's dad says to him "Some of them died before, some long after you"

Boone, Jin and Sun etc died before Jack..... Kate, Sawyer etc died after Jack.... maybe many, many years after. Hurley could have been protector of the island for 100s of years for all we know. Jack's dad says "There is no now here" meaning there is no time in the afterlife.

Alright. But doesnt that still mean they were dead on the island? They were all in the after life no matter what time they died. Thats why all those wierd things could happen on the island, why some people would die, and then appear again later. They just didnt except that they were dead.

Omg... I just watched this episode (I have seen some episodes of season 1 but I can't remember them so that's why I'm watching them now) and I cried like a baby. I knew that I would. I just cry almost every time if happen something sad in movies or TV shows and when there is some one actor which I like.. I just cry. I love Ian so it was sad to watch him die.. I couldn't stop the tears.. I just cried. ;'<

Love the juxtaposition of life and death in this scene. Despite Lost's shortcomings, it was still a damn genius show in terms of symbolism and imagery.

Boone's death was sad. Shannon's death just came out of nowhere, I was pissed that the Shannon character didn't develop as much as the others. She died in the beginning of her transformation! Just when she was getting more likable. Charlie was just way too sad to watch. Juliet's death was just way too heartbreaking to watch TWICE!
