just wondering when you finish this battle during the ending when Squall goes back to the childrens home and Ultimecia comes back dying and takes over the body of Edea whats the deal there? is it like a never ending loop?

i may be being stupid here but thats the initial reaction i got from that scene

or does Ultimecias dying body decease inside Edea?

@gutturaldissonance That's why Squall and the party must defeat Ultimecia in the past, so Ultimecia couldn't control Edea in the present.

Actually, I hadn't played FF8 since 2008, so I don't remember what the plot was about.

@Kyoshiro5411 Rinoa was controlled by Edea, but Edea was controlled by Ultimecia. We don't know about Ultimecia until the last part of the disc 3, then you will realize that Edea wasn't evil at all.

If I remember correctly, in the grand scheme of the story, it means nothing. In this battle, though, it simply means you can't revive them and they're replaced by another character. That's why if you have three super-powerful characters it's of paramount importance to revive them before absorption.

to tell you the truth this final battle was easy. Its Omega Weapon that is the problem

In FFX it's even worse. Final Boss has 180.000 HP, hardest boss has 12.500.000

I know I played and beat them both. To me it has nothing to do with HP but it's how much of a beat down they can give you.
