A lovely duet! ...a couple of slightly off intonations on the part of the saw aside, the only improvement to it would be having the mike not be so close to the saw -- the balance is off. The combo is magical, anyway!

That was HORRIBLE!  What an annoying, piercing sound that saw was making. I don't understand why that was even necessary??? I would have much preferred for Stjepan to have done a solo version. It would have sounded beautiful simply with his incredible talent!

@aRedRoseFTW The positioning of the saw when playing a certain note is not a set thing, like a certain finger position on a guitar. You have heard of "Hand - Eye coordination" like when using a hand controller on a video game and watching the screen? Playing the saw is an exquisite demonstration of Hand - Ear coordination" where the musician listens and the hand playing the saw matches the notes in the musician's mind. Having "perfect pitch", or even "relative pitch" helps a lot.

I beleive the saw arose as a musical instrument in the early 1800s, among loggers primarily, if I'm not mistaken. It's one of the more popular alternative instruments today, likely due to the relatively low cost (About $50 or so for the saw and a bow, as opposed to hundreds or thousands of dollars for a Glass Armonica or Crystal Baschet).
