prob because not many americans are fond about diesel and it goes along with the supply and demand concept. im amer and i want this car very bad lol =[
wait "catch up to audi?" uh last i checked audi was the manufacturer that used to be known for shitty cars and they were trying to catch up to bmw and merc. pretty sure bmw is not anywhere behind audi...
yeah i know that today audi makes some great car, and i love audis personally. but i would argue with you that audi is ahead of bmw. if youre only looking at the design aspect of it, not all audis look that great - at least half of their models look like fish out of water from the front. the rest look sweet, though. but bmw > audi...
bmw mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

The 335d costs about 13000$ more in Germany than in the US!!!
For me the question is why they are so cheap in the US while they are produced in Germany?!

@ninjafreak24
It compensates for not being able to use it properly. (Have fun driving 65 mph and eyeing the median when you wanna pass somebody).

@ninjafreak24 I don't think that are made in Germany. I think that are made in the factories across the ocean owned by BMW

I don't understand why Bmw is so expensive in America. In Europe is about 7000-10000 cheaper, depending on the model.

is 335d auto, manual, or manumatic?
jedidavisWAMPA 3 years ago
335d only comes with an auto box because bmw said a manual box cant handle the 428ib ft of torque

ugh, the design is so generic now. I thought I was looking at something made in japan.
they need to fire chris bangle, he's getting really stale.

That's cause BMW is following correct trends. Boxy is in the past.
michaelthepsycho 2 years ago
the e46 wasnt boxy. nor was it bulky like this.

This car is only noisy when it isn't on the move. When driving, the 335i is much noisier on the outside.
philip0007 3 years ago
People dont complain about noise when they buy a 335...PERIOD.
They complain about noise when they buy a Diesel...
if you buy a Gas injection engine, and if its a 335, its just music to your ears... not noise.
Have a great day.

bmw pwns in handling, but they need 2 improve on style to catch up 2 audi and arguably mercedes.

where have you been in the last 20 years? audi is no longer a slouch and is arguably the benchmark for design.

nice....i think they needed to up thier looks a bit....looks much better now......deisel may be expensive but the mpgs on it rock!

Why wouldn't you comment on the fuel economy? That would be the major deciding factor in buying diesel.

35 MPG is win.
uskrewed 3 years ago
Thats the EPA figures. I've heard some rumors the actual mileage would be up to and above 40mpg.
