i got the razer onza 2 days ago and its fucked up so im thinking bout this or mw3 controller. but i have a battery charge kit that came with 2 packs and a charging thing and the plug in part for the controller but its broken packs and charge work but so its sorta pointless to get this other then ill have a good controller and a play and charge chord again.

I have it and it blows. I play on sensitivity 10-12 and on the silver controller it feels like 4 it sucks considering I trickshot and do competitive. I hate it.

I thought they changed the inner to make it more precise. I tried it in the store and it felt no different from before in terms of motion. But it seems that the D-pad in the secondary mode ONLY makes it easier to press because you have a better space to use your thumb on and less space error.

I really want it though, I only got one so it would be very nice. A bit too pricy still though. (In Sweden)

@rocapablo Can't answer if this product lights up in the dark, though I know the newly released Razer Onza (Tournament Edition)'s buttons are illuminated at all times. Only issue is that it is a wired controller. No 3rd parties can make controllers that are wireless due to Microsoft restricting it. Though the Onza has to be wired, it's still better in most ways to Microsoft's current line of controller designs for the Xbox360. Only reason I'd buy this is if I only played beat 'em ups /w the Dpad

I bought one of these and within a couple days the left stick was making an insufferable squeaking noise. I returned it for another and within a month the D-pad literally just broke off. I returned it again (today) and hopefully it lasts this time, if not then this thing is not meant for aggressive use, aka any fighting games

i got this controller and overall its great but the only issue is that they changed the colors of the buttons which was a think that microsoft should not have done at all but i am ok with it cuz i have been playing xbox for years since the original xbox so its not a problem but when i made my friend use it then he could not use it so for new xbox players i would not recommend buying once of these unless u are ok with the button problem

I'm not sure that SSF4 is a good example of a 2D fighter to test the precision of a d=pad since the game has lots of input shortcuts and leeway. My test is to see how easy it is to walk-up 360 with Rock or Tizoc in Garou: Mark of the Wolves. I've had far more success with a cheap-o Madcats Joytec NEO simply because the cross-shaped gate on the d-pad.

Super Street Fighter 4 aspect of review was very informative. I have an arcade stick, but for some characters using the dragon-punch motions, d-pad is WAY better to use on a good d-pad.

Thanks for the review. I personally purchased this as I play platformers quite heavily (megaman, meatboy, and others.) Being an oldschool gamer, I really felt that this was absolutely leaps and bounds better than the old d-pad on the original 360 controllers. I play Super Street Fighter competitively so I must recommend that you use an arcade stick if you have the funds available, as D-pads will only take you so far in fighters. For platformers and other games though, this controller is worth it
