  • Hi, thanks for this demo!

I also own this amp since about 3 years. Now I bought a marshall footswitch with the intention to change from clean to crunch sounds.... But, I cannot find a blug for the footswitch, is it at all possible? do you have an advice? thanks, cheers!!!

  • Hi is this model different than 8020 ? I believer earlier 8020, 8010 did not have an actual valve in them ? I like this one better.

  • This thing sounds amazing...are there any tubes being used or vr circuits....thanks

  • @Texasjam

Nice playing & nice tone......You've obviously got good taste in music ...VH Rock.... you Rock!

  • Agreed! Not a metal amp but a good classic rock amp! I'm sure you can put a Boss Metal in front it would do the trick!

  • I have an ATV 275, and dont like the overdrive channels for playing metal.

Tough is a great amp for rock n roll, and has an awesome clean channel

  • great playin! what is the song after `` you really got me``? i know its van halen but which song? thanks

  • @cewattt ....."Aint talkin bout love"

  • great playin! what is the song after ``you really got me`` ?

  • Nice amp, nice playing!

    I love Van Halen :D

  • Thanks!!

  • hey do you think i can get a nice ac dc and guns n roses sounds with it? thanks

  • @slashangus23 ...Sure thing.

  • Wow! Awesome tone!

    Im into buying one,

    but...

Do you think that this amp will be loud enough to gig in a small/medium bar??

  • @jpadif...Yes I think so. It is loud! thanks!

  • Maby go for the AVT50 if you want to gig, it has quitae a lot more volume and isnt a huge ammount more expensive

  • does it have PA?

  • Not sure what you mean by "PA" ???

  • Public Address. Sound indicating technique or system designed for a wide audience in a hall or in the open air to operate .can I connect to a marshall avt 20 there

  • Yes...It has an emulated "Direct Out" that can connect to a soundboard.

  • thanx!

  • 5stars from me this was awesome.

Could not believe my ears :-)

I am into buying a used one. Think it is the same model as yours but my distortion channel when i tested this was not even close to yours. Can you please explain to me how you recorded this and if you are using an external pedal?

  • Thanks! The amp is on the o/d channel with the gain on 3 o'clock and volume on 11 o'clock. No effect pedal was used...just the amp. I'm new to recording and the one thing I noticed is that the tone I hear in the room is not what the mic is picking up. To my ears, the amp seems more distorted when recorded. Recorded it using ACID Studio 7 and added delay and reverb. Dry signal on the left and wet on the right. Used a USA 80's Kramer Baretta with a Duncan Distortion pickup.

  • Usa Kramer...that's why the tone is amazing :-)

Wow your comment encourage me to buy this amp since this great tone comes straight from the amp! Something more please...The sound is recorded with a mic or straight to the pc line in with no mic? Thanks a lot for your time and quick response!

  • Thanks...I used a Sennheiser e609 mic through a USB interface into the computer and recorded with ACID.

  • remember that the guitar also do alot for the sound :) i dont know anything about your gear but if u got an epiphone or some´thing or a fender (fenders usualy dont got a lot of distortion) its porbably why.

  • Thanks! You can find them used on ebay for around $100.

  • I love the squeals, nice tone!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks!!
