  • can i use my own 3d emmiter and glasses

  • thanks :)

  • For everyone asking about 3d stuff, check this site before you ask shit... nvidia com/object/3d-vision-system-requirements.html

  • can you use these to play 3D on a regular asus hd screen

  • @adrianflyfly You need a 3D ready screen , i think.

  • I can't use this with radeon 6970 and a Nvidia 3d certified monitor?

  • @Xaluku No its more about the graphics card and drivers than it is about the monitor.

  • the receiver work with laptop?

  • @getale Yes if the laptop meets the requirements.

  • Have you played games in 3D for hour on hour? I heard 3D gives headaches pretty easily. Do you experience this also? Overall.. would you play in 3D or 2D?

  • @delatroy I dont use 3d anymore because its too dark and I just do badly when I use it. It also massively kills performance. I didnt have problems with headaches or eye strain.

  • @SingularityComputers Interesting that you dropped them. I guess performance hit will always be a problem because even as hardware gets faster, software becomes more demanding.

If there were no performance drops would you use them? How about 3D movies? Would you use them for that?

  • can the glasses work on a geforce 520 video card?

  • @TheUnknownD Even if they did I wouldn't because you need better performance than a 520 to run 3D. You need at least a 560ti in my opinion and even then you are going to be sacrificing image quality.

  • imagine if you ware that all day.. so much radiation that will damage your brain..

  • @1:03 do you have to have those monitors to run 3d vision or can it be any monitor with 120hz?

  • @Singularity

My question is a simple 1. I'm gonna be running a single 3D monitor setup with a Single Asus 570Gtx/OC'd video card. My question is will I have enough video power to run games on decent graphics settings in 3D?

  • @TheClimbinExperience It depends on the 3D glasses and/or config. There are lots of different ways of doing 3D. In this case it is designed purely for gaming, but it will work for some other things that are designed for active shutter glasses. I am pretty sure there are browser plugins for it and you can definitely setup some media players such as those from Cyberlink to playback in 3D. You need a 120Hz screen too.

  • can u use it whit amd graphic card

  • @themetalgod50 no, it's nvidia 3D vision, you need an nvidia card.

  • @monkeyboy85 because i have see a pakadge whit a amd card and this nvidia 3d vision.

  • @themetalgod50 NVIDIA only. Its all explained in the video.

  • i have real glasses is they big enough to go over my glasses

  • @fred215 I would definitely test them out first before buying to make sure that they do fit with your glasses. There are too many variables for me to give you a definitive answer.

  • @SingularityComputers ok thank you

  • so in this kit you get everything you need to set up 3d except for the monitor

  • @bobtheballar Everything except for the monitor and the graphics card.

  • Hey, fantastic vid. Very informative. I was just wondering if i could ask you a question. I, at the moment have the samsung 22 inch 3d monitor and a nvidia 9800 graphics cards. Do you think I will be able to run high end games (black ops, just cause 2, ect.) with this set up? (in 3d) I am sorry if I havent provided the correct information (I've got 4 gigs of ram also, if that helps) for you to answer the question but a answer would be much thanked. Seya!

  • @sahara88lee Not unless you sacrifice a lot of image quality. You would have to run low settings with no aa etc. 3D basically halves your performance depending how optimized the game is for it.

  • That's a seriously powerful gaming rig! I just want to play HL2 so think I'm going to be OK! XD

  • Hey do you think you could help

Ive got 2x 9800gtx+ graphics cards do you think they could run 3 monitors playing steam games like half life 2?

Also what is dual link DVI?

    thanks

  • @SMG59 They are some old cards. You shouldnt have too much trouble running Source games @5760x1080 settings maxed but antialiasing and vsync disabled. You may run into driver bugs though and in that case you will be in for all kinds of trouble. Bad performance, only being able to run a single screen, etc. Last time I tried to run HL2 on triple screens I ran into driver problems with my TriSLI GTX 580s. It will no doubt require some playing around, tweaking.

  • @SMG59 Actually Surround requires a newer card if I am right.

  • Do you think 2x GTX 570 will be enough to play the latest games (including Metro 2033) with max settings on a single 1080p monitor in 3D?

  • @dolph123454321 It sure will, although you will have to sacrifice a bit of image quality in some very high end games such as Metro. But its fine because you just turn off/down the settings that don't matter so much, that don't make much difference. For example In Metro if you have trouble running it maxed out, just turn off Advanced DOF and you will nearly double your frame rate.

  • @SingularityComputers Thanks. You've earned yourself a sub :)

  • @SingularityComputers ya the game isnt optimized well at all

  • give me your pc specs plz

  • @F3llFr0mAb0v3 Look at my channel. I have my specifications and a whole lot more. If you are a hardware enthusiast then its the perfect channel for you mate.

  • my laptop supports nvidia 3d vision (acer, intel i5 - 480m, 2,66 - 2,93 ghz, 4gb ram, 640db hdd, 1gb nvidia geforce gt 540m) video card supports: Microsoft DirectX 11 Shader model 5.0 NVIDIA® Optimus™ technology NVIDIA® 3D Vision™ technology NVIDIA® PhysX® Exclusive NVIDIA Verde™ drivers Display: 15.6" WXGA; LED CineCrystal; HD 16:9 If i will buy this nvidia 3d vision glasses kit - Can i will be able to watch movies in 3d and play games in 3d in my laptop..? Or i will need some other hardware?
  • @911madza If your laptop supports 3D vision (not just your video card but your laptop) then all you need is the NVIDIA 3D Vision Glasses Kit. Your laptop needs to support it because the screen needs to be 120Hz for the glasses kit. Just make sure you have the latest NVIDIA drivers and away you go. You will have a lot of trouble running the latest games though in 3D Vision. You will have to sacrifice a lot of image quality. For movies you will need a special media player. Cyberlink has one.

  • in ur video i see u have ur middle screen with a window open, so does that mean running nvidia 3d surround is like running 3 different screens? like to run 3 different screens with 570's u need 2 570's in sli and a 3rd card for the 3rd monitor but if u can run 2 570's in sli and use 3 screens?

  • @dzman1024 NVIDIA surround vision needs a minimum of SLI, unless you have a GTX 590. So you plug 2 screens into one card and 1 into the other. When surround vision is enabled your system will detect the 3 screens as being 1 screen.
