wow what an argument, but from a swimmer's perspective sprinting is no more masculine than any other type of event, The 50, in my opinion is the easiest event, not that it doesn't take training, but the training it takes to become a world-class long-distance swimmer is so much more grueling than that for a 21 second race. Just my opinion. Plus, Bernard had better be able to get the record seeing as he is so much bigger than anyone else!!!

Watch Popov's 50 swim. The man is the purest technical sprinter ever. He se the record with no body suits (technology) as they use today and he wasn't even wearing a cap. His stroke count is 31 compared to Bernard's 37. That shows you how much more of technique the man had compared to Bernard. Bernard is built with extreme power. Thats another issue to talk about for another day. Looks ridiculous how big this guy is. I can see why people are questioning
